I've watched this movie over ten times. Great acting by all. Gil Birmingham as the father is wonderful. When he opens the door and sees his friend standing there, the way his expression changes is heart-wrenching. Olsen's face after she sees the mother cutting herself, too. The gunplay is well choreographed and believable.

This movie is one of the most genuine scripts to screen, set design and acting tour-de-forces I've ever seen. It's almost flawless. Taylor Sheridan knows his craft! And don't overlook Graham Greene's performance here. This is BSA worthy. Subtle yet passionate and very witty. On my top 15 all time list

I think they should have left it out. After all, everyone in the audience gets it without the scene. At least those a**holes got what they had coming.
