Hi Mike really looking forward to Christmas in Lanzarote again. Also thank you so much for information regarding places to visit especially the one on the living museum in San Bartolomy its such an interesting and educational insight into past life on the island. 😊❤ Regards Chris UK.
Hi Mike,was dreading coming on 3rd November, with delays,we landed at 2,30 pm sailed through immigration cases cane out so quick no taxi queue,in playa blanca by 4,brilliant and weather so good to🙂😎
Thank you for another brilliant video. Christmas in Lanzarote is magical and the Three Kings is amazing love it. Hoping to come over for the festivities this year can't wait. Take care, have a good weekend.
Mike, Brilliantly informative as always, many thanks. Having arrived on the island one year on New Year’s Eve I can certainly agree it’s a great time to be there. The fireworks display in PdC was great, the nativity scene outside the Fariones hotel was really lovely and the 3 Kings arriving was such a wonderful atmosphere with all the kids getting so excited.❤
Great content, thank you Mike! I always enjoy Xmas in Spain, laid back and not at all commercial. Hoping to visit the island for the first over Xmas this year with my teenage sons (age 17) but not wanting to stay in a resort. Can anyone recommend any particular places to stay? Will not be hiring a car so has to be near public transport. Thank you.
I think you’ll struggle, because most places here have been booked for months. If you’re looking to stay out of the resorts but near public transport, Arrecife or Playa Honda would be a good option. Have a look at booking com or Air BNB.
Good morning. We’re avid viewers of your well made and highly informative videos and will be using new knowledge of places to eat, walk, etc., on our next trip to Lanzarote on 26th December, when we’ll be spending 3 weeks, with kids and granddaughter, at a gorgeous villa in Tias. Maybe our paths will cross? For the next two weeks, however, we are in Gran Canaria and I wondered if you had any ‘must sees’ whilst we’re here? All the best for now and keep up the highly informative work. 👍
@@LanzaroteInformation wanted to do Tejeda (went to Teror today and then Puerto de las Nieves) but Diane terrified of what she’s read of the road up. Problem is, there’s no turning round if she can’t take it - I’ve been there before in other mountains 😂🤦♂️
If only we could visit at Christmas. Every November we see the tree at biosfera go up and the tree at old town harbour but that's it. Never mind as the weather this week will make up for it. Cheers Mike and it's a little early but feliz navidad.
Hi Mike. We arrive on the 25th December around 6pm . We have an apartment booked in Arrecife. Will some restaurants be open in Arrecife in the evening on the 25th or will we need to travel into a tourist destination like Costa Teguise or somewhere ? Or will the San gines eateries be open? Thanks for your informative videos and writing 😊
I don’t think many places will be open in Arrecife on the 25th. Most people have their Christmas meals here on Christmas eve, so most take the 25th as a day of rest and relaxation. Might be worth contacting one or two restaurants you’d like to eat at to see if they are opening, or plan to take a trip into Costa Teguise where almost everywhere will be open.
Coming to Playa Blanca for Christmas and New Year the first time. Can you advise on the general feeling towards tourists given the recent and ongoing protests. Its making me feel slightly uncomfortable. Thanks
Hi Mike, we are regular visitors to Lanzarote and usually rent a villa. We're coming over on 26th December and staying in a Hotel for the first time in Playa Blanca and looking forward to celebrating New Years Eve. Can you let me know the dress code for that evening in a hotel please?

The best advice I can give you is to ignore your press, which prints utter rubbish almost all the time.
@LanzaroteInformation ok, thank you 🙂

Hi Fiona. You’ll need to check with the hotel. But generally, on New Year’s Eve, people dress well here. Have a fabulous time on the island.
@@LanzaroteInformation thank you!
