If you couldn't sound check a guitarist before he went on, you know he's gonna be using a DI box, what gain level would you set his input at so as not to be over powering? I'd rather start low and increase if needed
Hi, thank you for the very useful advices. I'm far away from being a sound engineer but I'm the only one trying.. Next sat we'll have a jam and 4 bands will be there relying on me! We have an XR18 which we're going to use for the first time!! I preliminary set all the 16 channels for the different musicians and set a preliminary settings for them. My question is the following: how and when will i have to set the GAIN for each one? I don't have a clue how much could be neither them. I guess I have to do as first thing during their individual soundcheck. Thanks, ciao
Hi James do you have a video where you discuss the order of setting a mix up? The order in which you add instruments to the mix and eq/ adjust accordingly ;)

How do I put the correct Hz on my amp for main passive speakers? I run 2 JBL JRX1115 main speakers and JRX218 subwoofers with 2 Crown XLS 2500. I worry that the amps are not sending the correct Hz to the speakers for the best projection. Can you help?

Would you say that the Presonus StudioLive series is the most capable DigiMixer in that price range?
It all depends on your needs. There are a lot of great consoles in that price range.

the ebook version is now available! check the link in the description
Hello, please why do you prefer using Presonus rather than the other boards?
