1 - Bricks & Mortar - The people who made Eastbourne

With the Covid 19 restrictions of 2020, the Eastbourne Society has not been able to host its regular monthly presentations for its members. Alan Wenham kindly has presented three new talks for the Society and the first instalment of The People Who Made Eastbourne is Bricks and Mortar.
In this richly illustrated presentation Alan paints detail on the lives and works of the people who were influential in building the town.

A really interesting presentation, Alan. Brought to life the history of the town, in ways I hadn’t previously appreciated. And as I’m no longer resident, it was quite nostalgic! Thank you.
