I use this mower in my business. I have a lawn care business and have a few houses with about an acre and then a 5 year government contract to mow a satellite field for the NWS that is 4 acres, I have to mow all 4 acres weekly from April 1st - October 31st every year. This mower is great and makes the work easier and quicker, I bought it last March and used it all season in 2023 with zero issues or complaints on all that mowing. Got it serviced and ready to go again this year!
thats awesome man. I have my own mowing business aswell. 2 years ago I used a z345r 42 in and it was okay but pretty small. I just ordered the z515e so I can't wait to use it.
I just bought a 60 inch one and all i can say is it is one bad piece of equipment , all I can say is I love it , no issues what so ever . Thanks John Deere .
I had a john deere 717A with a 48 inch deck ... I mowed 38 lawns using the mulch kit only & it did amazing with the fall cleanup & the leafs ... I did double cut my lawns which groomed them out nicely ... hope this helps with your thoughts on mulching.
Oh for sure! I'm getting the mulch kit absolutely. I like the concept of mulching the leaves and grass anyway. Additionally, I think it will be easier to control where the clippings fly to. Right now I keep launching them all over my mulch beds. So hopefully a mulch kit will keep that from happening as much
@@BradleyKnowsBest I think my main concern Is that the 330M comes with the Kawasaki engine and the 515 comes with the Briggs. I had a Briggs engine in a push mower and it was constant problems
@@GreggoryThorpe that was my thinking as well. Just bought a Z330R. The Z3 line for 2023 comes with a lot of new features that I liked and the R trim level included the light package and the floormat. Also liked that it came with a hitch - surprisingly the 530M did not.
Such a smooth ride! I just mowed this weekend and it's getting better every week. . . mostly because i'm leveling my lawn out, but it just feels good to rip through the job
@@andrewinvests839 It works nice now. I put it on jacks and looked all around and under . i pulled and pushed on all the connections , and the cables attached that are connected to the handles. also switched on and off the 2 levers that disengage the transmission so you can push the mower, repeatedly. then i put it back down. i dont know what fixed it , but it started to work again without a glitch.
not sure about that but I'll keep you updated. I keep mine out of the sun so that will have to help. Looks to me like that seat will last a long time, but we'll see. That's why we do these reviews

Nice! I recently ordered the Z315E. I have.5 acre
Congrats man! JD makes a great mower. Hopefully the 315E will take good care of you. Appreciate the feedback
how long did it take to deliver it
Solid video. I'm debating between this 515 and the 330m
man, get the 515! Trust me, the durability is worth every penny to upgrade. I researched it a lot before buying

For general maintenence, I use Mobile service from Atlantic Tractor. Great service from my dealer.

Thank you good sir. Appreciate the feedback. Always feels good to ride green and yellow 👍

cannot see gasoline thru the plastic see thru gas tank.
True, it is not easy to see! I can see it though
mine quit working after one hour. wont reverse. just spins. paid $5K . pissed.
They have a good warranty. You'll probably be without a mower until it's fixed though
@@andrewinvests839 Totally agree. get that warranty. Mine has been flawless

john deere fail !!!
Man, that engine hour gage is questionable. Why doesn’t it show the hours?

Yea nice yellow seat. It will be cracked in six months.
Mine is 4 years old and not cracked.
these seats are not made of the same material the cheap lawn tractors have. these are much softer and less rubbery.

Park them inside after use will protect them. This is a great seat. My back is wrecked and I cut for 3 hours at a time with no d,is comfort.
They make them differently now
Off the truck, won’t start at all
