  • John Gilliam averaged 20 yards per catch and scored 17 touchdowns in three seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals (1969-1971). He was inexplicably traded after the '71 season to Minnesota for QB Gary Cuozzo.

    Can you imagine what the Coryell years may have been like if they hadn't traded Gilliam or Rashad?

    I would’ve paid a lot of money to see a race with all in their primes between John Gilliam, Sunny Randall, Bob Paramore and throw in Roy Green. Would’ve been a heck of a race.

    I know my Uncle Frank may not have any highlights but as his great great niece who’s really into foosball I’d really appreciate anything you can find he played with the cardinals from 1959-1962 anything would be appreciated you don’t know how many videos I’ve been watching 😅 I believe his jersey number was 72
