As much as I like this version of the Sonic Battle story, I wished you didn't change the story too much. I would've personally liked it if Metal found Emerl first. Then sometime, lend Emerl to Sonic and the rest of the gang like in the OG game, but secretly observing Emerl during the rest of the story; seeing if Emerl would become a better robot than himself, seeing if he would grow to be a better person and a better hero. That way, we can still have the father-son dynamic.
