So true...they turn the piano into an orchestra! I wonder who they are...they should be credited in the description! Are they the same that recorded this Requiem with Seraphic - Scott Allen Jarrett and Justin Blackwell?

Wie lieblich! I went looking for a version that wasn’t too speedy or unnecessarily vigorous. Many of the orchestral performances here on TH-cam are overly dramatic and punchy. This is as serene and heavenly as I believe Brahms meant it to be. Bravo!
This is an absolute masterpiece, which brings me to tears each time I sing it in a choir.
I, too, am moved to tears each time I hear this piece. I first sang it with a high school choir back in the 1970s. Yes, I still think of the late and great conductor who programmed it. When he died, I wrote him an open letter of thanks, which I posted on my LinkedIn page.
This Is The First Time I Have Ever Heard This Very Beautiful Transcription For 2 Pianist !!...Absolutely Beautiful !!.....This Is Definitely The Most Melodic of All of The Choruses from This Great Masterpiece , Showing Once Again The Strong Lifetime Influence of Schuman on The Young Brahms. In Fact The Argument Can Always Be Made That The Music of Brahms Always Represented A More Evolved Schuman !!.
Bravi to these pianists and diction on fleek. If only the orchestra could push and pull like this.

This is a stunning performance by a superb ensemble. It is the best version I know, not a single note or phrase that could have been done better. They find the balance of all the aspects this work needs-from its harshness to the most divine and sentimental. Also their German pronunciation is excellent. Very often you realise that people don't 'feel' the text. Here it is absolutely convincing.

An absolute masterpiece, this 4th movement, center of the whole piece. I sang this requiem with one and two pianos, and also with orchestra, but this movement is an absolue splendeur with these two marvelous pianists.
