May BJ Thomas RIP hey was a wonderful singer. We all will mess him for sure. And all three ones that passed before him. To many great singers have passed, but we will all messed them. God is listening to the Greats singing up in heaven now.
Good stuff. I miss all these old country singers I grew up listening to and my early years as an adult. BJ died from Lung Cancer about 11 years after this show @78. :( Didn't need all the flashing crud we saw at the CMAs this year.
Noticed Barbara Fairchild with eyes closed ( while BJ singing) , never saw Jean Shepard looking like sleeping, camera showed Fairchild close up,hardly a glimpse of Jean in film. Fairchild was only listening to BJ sing while her eyelids close, as some people listen to some songs
