My wife feels we need them as these tires, installed by the dealer, stick out from the stock fenders, on our newly purchased 2002 Toyota SR5 4x4, with very large tires (General's LT31.0x10.5x15 Grabber HTS), for our needs for a cross-country touring adventure with the new "Cricket" ultralight trailer.
