After years of trying different verbs, I'm returning to this one. I love one type of reverb sound and I can gain total control over it with the toneprint software. Less is More....
i didn't even know the benefits of a reverb pedal, but after reading some reviews and watching some videos, i realized that its a must flavour for a guitarist, it adds a lot to the tone of the guitar. especially for recording. tc electronic is a great company well worth the money. thanks a lot.
it's more about the size than the price. this thing can do all that the regular hall of fame can do in terms of tones (the algorithms are the same). if you don't tweak your reverb a lot and don't have lots of space on your pedalboard it's perfect. or if you already have your bread and butter reverb in another pedal and need a really freaky sounding reverb for some occasions.
Damn! just when I thought I didnt need a second reverb pedal. I have the T-Rex tube reverb pedal and its great, I use it on guitar chain, live PA mixes, DI acoustic guitar. This HOF is great reminds me of the soundtracks to 1980s films, Top Gun sought of stuff. They should have called it the Hassel-HOF though, that would have been even cooler!
Is it possible to get a shimmer effect a fifth or octave up with the TonePrint Editor? A shimmer effect with slight pitch modulation would be the ultimate!
It would be so cool if you could store like 3 or 4 of your favorite presets and select them with am extra knob or button. but then nobody would buy the bigger versions probably. i have the same issue with my flashback mini. with an extra knob/button i could jump between presets in between songs quickly ..
I think it is the only video that explores the tons of options this mini reverb of TC offers. Great review!!!! is Tone Print a free download from an android phone onto the reverb pedal?
You can do it in a custom Toneprint if you put in the time :) Just make the knob have a sudden "peak" and you can use up to 12 o'clock as subtle reverb, and 12 and up as a HUGE sound :)
Ok, I can't access the editor because I can't get a USB and power jack plugged in at the same time......how did you do that??? Otherwise having a blast with the existing Tone Prints!!
Can I achieve a freeze/hold effect with the HOF mini? Cheers for any insights. After 20+ years I've decided Reverb is the Delay I've been searching for all this time. Long time owner, user, and huge fan of the ZCat Hold Reverb... a piece of genius... interestingly, outside of EHX, no other companies have tried to rip this off... even the big players don't get the freeze right (hello B@ss TE2)... Freeze/hold effect must be a monster of an effect to design.
I want to have a new mini reverb pedal... HOF may be good, but there is no tone color knob.... there can be times reverb will sound edgy & trebly.... how can we solve that?... :)
The pedal comes loaded with a tone print. To make any changes or pick a new toneprint to use, you must use a computer or phone. You could create your own toneprint with the editor and save it both on your computer and download it to the pedal, but for modification or creation, you have to use a computer.
Thanks a bunch for a very helpful answer, a load of my shoulder and less in pocket to be used for the rest of nick nags I'll need in my music. Cheers Dude.
gillianxfile I really like the new versions of the TC pedals.. Great company. I have the Flashback Delay, the normal size one... It is easy to use and has a ton of features.
Yeah, a recent discovery. All of this guy's videos are full of really tasty Robben Ford or better phrasing. I bet he sells a lot of gear for this company.
Does it require wifi or data to use the different effects? i am thinking of getting one but dont have a data plan and im nervous it would limit my abilities to try different effects
No it doesn't. What's even better than using the app is plugging it into your computer with a USB cable. You can change more parameters than you could imagine in there and store it to the pedal.
No warmth in this pedal or company. I had one that died after 16-months of light use, and TC Electronic was -0- help. Customer service stinks. Wasn't thrilled when I actually heard it, and was disgusted by the short lifespan (30-hours) and terrible service.
I have many TC pedals which are not bad at all knock on wood all work great so far but decided to try other brands like MXR,Boss,Digitech,Strymon for reverbs and Delays cause these one will outlive me,but I'm not shure for TC's I've heard many guys complain about their pedals that break easily,so by having the most crucial reverbs and delay pedals from Strymon and overdrive by Boss I'm pretty set for years ahead, maybe in the future will change some other if it dies and that basically all.
I am loving this guitarist. He is so laid back but he sneaks in some serious phrasing.

almost a 16 minute video for a pedal with one knob....this is why I love your vids! thanks for it!
Brian Cullen: with it's one knob simplicity and ease of use, the 'No-hassle HOF' might be a better suited name :)
haha
Great demo! Thanks a lot!

Great demo. I love working with your company. The best
Thanks so much for the nice compliment!
Great demo and fantastic guitar work. Thank you.

Fantastic demo! Very nice playing, too.
I would like to see a video just on the Tone Print editor app. Such an interesting idea for effects pedals.
Simply awesome review demo. Indeed awesome thanks.
Great pedal, great demo, great tone
Beautiful pedal... and review. Davide
very very good REVERB HOF MINI PEDAL
If l could play like you wow. So good
Thanks!
Thanks a lot! I appreciate it!

Quiero saber si se puede usar y configurar con una guitarra clásica??

I want to demo that one!
What kind of guitar is the red Tele being used in the first part of the video?
Is it possible to get a shimmer effect a fifth or octave up with the TonePrint Editor? A shimmer effect with slight pitch modulation would be the ultimate!
Same question here. I've got HOF mini, but I haven't time to search until someone will say that's possible.
@@grzegorzsalata It seems the new version of the HOF mini is capable of the shimmer effect but this one is not.

is Tone Print a free download from an android phone onto the reverb pedal?
??? ipad and phone tone print ( FRANCE )
de foiard DE FOIARD Yes... The Tone Prints and the editor can be used via Windows, Mac, Iphone, Ipad, and Android...
free?
Aluchi Del Pasado Yes... free... no charge for the editor, no charge for the downloadable toneprints... Pretty cool huh?
of course, are you using the tone print? are there any settings for Blues musicians?
good video you can see all
I'd like one that enables you to switch between 2 presets. So I can run a subtle hall reverb standard and a giant spring sound for some songs
You can do it in a custom Toneprint if you put in the time :) Just make the knob have a sudden "peak" and you can use up to 12 o'clock as subtle reverb, and 12 and up as a HUGE sound :)
Does it have a buffered mode as well, or is it true bypass only? Nice demo! :D
Nice one! Now BigSky please! :D
does it have shimmer?
What drive pedal did you use at 4:14? Awesome sound.
Is this pedal an exact version of the larger hall of fame?
Ah I get what you mean now. That sort of hit me when they started messing around with the sounds on the computer.
That's fair enough.
The best Review ...
Does this mini hof have the same quality as the biggest Hall of Fame? Does that doubt me?
Ok, I can't access the editor because I can't get a USB and power jack plugged in at the same time......how did you do that??? Otherwise having a blast with the existing Tone Prints!!
should reverb comes before delay or after in pedal arrangement?
whichever sounds best to you mate. myself, I always use reverb last in chain.
VERY NİCE GREAT
What type of power supply is used?
what overdrive are you using in spots? thanks.
Can I achieve a freeze/hold effect with the HOF mini?
Cheers for any insights.

How does it works in it self without the toneprint ?

Is that the Bourne Identity song?
it is all versions of the same soud,, if you like the hof pedals thats great if you dont there is nothing you can do about it

is this a digital pedal or what?
all reverb is digital
Springs, plates and real rooms are not digital.
Yes they are, just a bit of them are analog.
It's all digital pedal
2:54 Jobim?
I just looked this and the original Hall of Fame up, and there's only a £20 difference? That doesn't make much sense...
What pedal are you getting that clear distortion from?
TINY ROOM = BLUES ERIC CLAPTON
TILE = BLUES
TINY ROOM = SUM41
REGLAGES
what are them pickups
HA HA

@@savanaviolenta i don't think is luck. Some tc that I have, are more than 10 years older
