I echo other's sentiments, this channel has easily punched its way into my top 3 Dungeontubers, despite your common competition all focusing on game philosophy; homebrew ideas; and industry politics hot takes. This channel is refreshingly focused in comparison. Really appreciate your approach to showing us what books are really like and having well-thought-out insights as to their strengths and flaws. Here's to many more!
I don’t normally bother to comment on videos, but I just wanted to add to what everyone else is saying. I found your channel as I was getting into Shadowdark recently and it’s become an invaluable resource to me for learning more about other cool OSR adventures! I love the depth you go into with all of your reviews, that’s exactly the kind of thing I’ve been looking for ❤
Somehow this channel has became a go-to for me: if Redmage has a new one in the queue, that's what I'm watching. You have more or less stepped into the gap left by Questing Beast when he (Ben) sadly stopped reviewing adventures.
Happy anniversary, and such well-deserved growth! Really cool list; the high ranking of Grotto and Winter's is just getting me more jazzed for the final release of Dolmenwood this winter. What a great time to be a gamer.
As everyone is saying, great channel, including the game synopsis elements you do too like the Strahdodark you did etc. Keep up the good work, happy channel birthday and congrats on the successes!
@@RedMageGM Did it take long to get the pdf for the Hounds of Hendenburgh? I bought the book and pdf last night and it is still processing? (Thanks for making me spend more money lol)
@@RedMageGM Just got the book through the post for this, looks so good. I love the way they made the cover look like an old school module with the slightly worn styling and pretend scuff marks they gave it and the cover colour and style is very in keeping with that too. Still don't have the pdf though!
Top stuff this, mate. Just halfway through but really like how you've done this, especially listing them in the description and the detailed discussion of them. Great how you've used the tier list epic video to drive into this. Have all 10 of these and totally agree - they are all great adventures. And happy anniversary! You really should have more subs!
Congratulations 🎊 on your first year. Great reviews, especially the non WOTC content. I'm running Basic Fantasy with my kids and they need a simpler system than 5E. I hope maybe you can take pictures of actual game play in your campaign as a filler and as your own B roll.
Thank you mate! Yeah, that's something I should consider - I tend not to want to record my players, cause I think it changes how they play...but maybe it'd make it better! Who knows! :D
Happy aniversary! You've become my go to for inspiration for my games. 🎉🎉 PS: would it be possible for you to add bookmarks to your vids so it's easier to navigate each adventure you review?
Happy to be on this journey from the beginning. I like your very calm and mature look on adventures and campaigns. How is your ongoing campaign working out? Will we see another prep video or recap? Or the Curse of strahd aftermath? 😉 Congrats for going over 3000 I used winters daughter in my beyond the wall campaign long time ago its was very cool and mystical for my players
Thank you, mate! Hope your CoS campaign is going well! I think I might do a video summary and recap of my Strahd campaign as we get closer to Halloween - sort of a review and retrospective basically, what I really liked, and what I'd do differently.
@@RedMageGM Yes its a blast. I look through your video frame by frame of the Castle Ravenloft video. You did very well there.. I shamelessly copy very much of it for my approche. Nice, I look forward to it. Oh and I think we both like the Gavin Norman works very very much.
@@RedMageGM So in short my group is in Vallaki, killed van Richten (I made him like a very useful ally but a person who wants to get rid of all vistani. He also had met the nihilist seer and she wanted him dead) The witch even managed to convince the night watch (they had good reputation with them due to solving their "missing guards" problem) that this dead guy killed poor Blinsky and they do not find the body of him - hilarious running gag. "But not poor Blinsky" The seer and plaguedoc got imprisoned from the Duskwatch (the seer got them in trouble - again). And they made a deal to "heal" Stella from her sleeping paralysis with Izek. The witch and templar had other problems (the witch is the daughter of Fiona Wachter). They solved the problem with the stolen bones and find Bella very, very suspisious. The witch even cast a spell on her and I made her an alley hag. So the spell did not work on this level creature. In the end Bella for them is either a not very useful mental incapicitated level 5 peasent or something very dangerous. Now there in the Wachter house, Fiona did try to convince them to turn on Izek and Vargas but the group wanted to think about it. They stayed for the night and have begun to search the house.

Thank you - I'm really glad that the channel has been so well-received!
I don't even play much OSR but I like my channels to be information dense, focused and clear. This hits the mark.
Thanks for that roundup, I enjoy your reviews and decided to buy many from the list after this vid
Awesome! Glad I could help! :)
Thanks for all your work
You're welcome!

I still have high-hopes that he'll jump back into regular adventure reviews! His insights are soooo good!

Thank you! Yes, I totally agree - it's an excellent time in the hobby!

My pleasure! ;)
I got the PDFs through Kickstarter by backing them, so I don't have any experience with the store. :/ Sorry!

Really honoured to make the list. Glad you enjoyed the adventure!
The Hounds is probably top of the list for things I want to run at the moment! It's a great adventure!
Bravo! So very proud for you! As always, keep up the great work and thank you for all this wonderful information!

For the 3-book sets, for sure. I'll start doing that moving forward.
Happy 1 year anniversary of the channel. 🎉👍🏼
