- In this video, I show you some details of my truck. I recently sold my Bullitt Mustang, but will be getting a new car in the next few months. Stay tuned for details!! The truck has 7'' of suspension lift with 35'' BFG All Terrain tires. The stereo is a Kenwood DNX6190HD with navigation, bluetooth, backup camera, HD radio, iPod, etc. There is a 10'' MXT subwoofer in a MTX Thunderform enclosure. I have a Boss Audio 1,100 watt mono block amp. Please see my other videos for more information!
I have this model and a 97’ f150 with the 4.6 triton engine both amazing trucks I don’t like the new fords the body is just the same with updated lights but this baby is built like a tank !!
Nice ol pickup man i gotta 02 5.4 supercrew still running perfectly. 166 thousand miles. Tires batteries and 2 coil packs replaced. Not great on fuel tho but im runnin 38x12.50s. Love it still.
I love 10 generation and 11 generation ‘04 when lifted clean like that I need to get one soon

I just bought a 2003 Lariat 4x4. Absolutely love it. It has the tan leather like yours. I like your mods, very tasteful and clean. You have given me some great ideas. And yes more videos please.

Ha ha, thank you. I'm not the original owner, but I bought it from a friend about 9 years ago. The rockers are factory solid!

Nice F150. This video was six years ago. Do you still have this truck and if so. how is it doing? I have a 97 Lariat that I bought brand new 22 years ago. I'm in the process of restoring it with my son. I watched the Homelink instal video. One of the mods we're doing is installing an overhead console from a 2000 Expedition. We also have to install new sun visors because the original F150 sun visors won't fit with the console. Those visors came with Homelink installed so we'll be trying to make that work.

...LOVE IT!! I love my 01 also, but I'm having the rust show up in the lower rocker panels...I ended up cutting them out so there's no place for anything to get stuck up there! Otherwise it runs great...135k on it and I would trust it to drive out west to meet ya!

What type of Fogs do you have in there? I have the factory and have been contemplating getting rid of them. I have some 5" rounds behind the front grill also
powerking73 They are round projectors that are made for the F150. I installed HID lamps in them. I am interested in installing some behind my grille...one of these days!
What company and model are your head+tail lights? They look nice and I would to switch them out for my 2001 Lariat's as well.

The stereo even sounds amazing on camera..not even getting the full feel of it!
One question though, did you have to trim the upper radio deck of the dashboard, or just slide it in a dash kit? A lot of videos I've seen have had to trim the dash in order to fit certain models.

That's a very clean truck. I think I've told you I have the same one, color and all. But as I run a survey crew out of mine, it's very hard to keep clean or nice. Plus I am looking at 214000 miles as of today!

Would you mind telling me how you installed the 04 emblems on the fenders? Did the 04 emblems match up to the original holes that are behind the emblems?
Kyle John I had to break off the tabs. They just barely covered the factory holes, but it worked.

No, didn't change the gears. It ended up being OK, but right on the verge of needing different gears.

No, had to cut the tabs off the new emblems. They barely covered the holes in the fender.

It was an RCD lift with additional lift keys installed. That was a long time ago tho!

@@santiagodavila1426 lift blocks in the rear and different torsion keys in the front. 3” might be the max for that kind of lift tho. Just search 3” lift

So i finally got my truck done, I did 5inch lift, on 35s with the 17s Ford stock rims.
Do you have a steering stabilizer..?

My new one has a plug but went to change them out and can't find a plug on the factory one unless it's farther in the roof, I didn't want to pull the roof lining down if there's no plug to it.
It plugged right into the factory pigtails for the brake and cargo lights. It was very simple. Maybe yours is different?

Was the Kenwood an easy install
I'd say it was medium difficulty. Had to cut away part of the dash.
How do you remove the rear overhead light housing inside the cab to change to led?
Derrick Neves I think the lenses just popped out with a flat blade screw driver.
what is the bolt pattern on those wheels? 5on135mm, or are they old 5 on 5?

How did you install the back up camara on the tailgate?
Just drill through the skin. There is an access panel on the inside of the tailgate. Super easy.

aynjel011 I’m sorry, I have no idea. This was so long ago and I no longer own the truck. I can tell you they were a small 16.5” wheel and I think American Racing.

No. It had plenty of power with the 5.4
@@OhYeahAboutThat I’m thinking of doing a 4in RC lift with some 315/70r17 Cooper ST Maxx. I’ve seen on some forums that the best gear ratio to go to give the trans maximum “life expectancy” would be 4.56 since I’ve got the same exact truck
how did it break
It got stuck on the boot screen and it cost me over $100.00 to have it fixed. Found out it was a common problem with Kenwood.

It was a Kenwood. I don't remember the model, but it ended up breaking. I'm not sure I'd recommend it.
