I didn’t even know about the VIVOactive 5 so I really appreciate your comparison of this with the Venu 3S which I am considering. You made it perfectly clear why the Vivoactive 5 is not something I would want. No altimeter is the deal breaker for me. The cost of the Venu 3S however is not something I can do now. I’m hoping the sales after US’ Thanksgiving will apply to the Venu 3S. Since you asked, I do like the shorter version video not that there’s anything wrong with a longer one! Thank you for taking the time to do this! Your point of view is really needed out there.
Hello, if you are looking for a lower priced watch, you may want to check out the Venu 2S/2 it has an alitmeter and routinely goes on sale. I've done a Venu 3S vs. Venu 2S comparison as well! And thanks for sharing 😊.
Already bought the 3s and im watching this coz i cant wait for it to arrive!!!
I just have a Fitbit tracker and I think the vivoactive 5 is a big upgrade to what I have, but I would be hard pressed to spend $449 on a watch. Hell even $299 is iffy

Thanks for your honest reviews Abby. Ive had a samsung for about 5 years that died in September I decided to switch to garmon but ive been struggling with which watch to get. I like the the fact that the Venu 3s has voice capabilities as im used to that ... but honestly in your opinion do you think the proce will come down at all for black friday? I am not sure i want to spend 599 .. is it worth it in your opinion? Ive also considered the 2s or vivoactice 4 ... do you have any suggestions
Hi there! I'm glad you're enjoying my reviews, and quite honestly, all of those Garmin watches mentioned are great. I'd consider the features, display, price and design that work best for you. And if voice and speaker functionality are a deal breaker the Venu 3S is the only one with that in this list. I've also done individual reviews on all of them if your looking for more something in-depth as my comparisons just cover the main differences and similarities between 2 watches.
We may see the Venu 3S go on sale on black Friday (or may not it's still quite new) but will definitely see the Venu 2S and Vivoactive 4S go on sale.

Ahh thanks for this review. I have the classic Lily for almost 4 years now and it's already got scratches and dents on the bezel. I can say I would rather upgrade to the venu 3s.
Great review! 😊 I want to change my Garmin vivoactive 3. I've had it for 5 years and it still works but the battery is not great anymore. I think it will be a venu 3s 😍 like the pink one you have. Hoping it will be discount on black friday since it's a bit pricier than the 2 plus.

Venu 3s for sure! I think I read that Vívoactive 5 no longer has the oxygen sensor, too. Is that right?
I currently have Vívoactive 4s and am just waiting for better pricing on Venu 3s before I upgrade. Battery life, better sensors, ability to answer calls and talk to caller are several reasons. Sometimes my phone is in the other room and I have to run around looking for it when someone calls right now. 😅

Thanks for the video! The venu 3s is a gorgeous watch with some extra features but I think the VA 5 will have to do for me, budget wise. Still good enough for me, especially coming from the mess that is fitbit! 😂 Can't wait to join garmin!

Is it Venu 3s comfortable for wearing while sleeping? Definitely better looking, but concerned about the weight. Any advice for me? Thank you!
Hello, i find it comfortable and I dont have an issue falling asleep with it on. But it may take a few days to get used to if you haven't slept with a watch on before.

Im Debating wether i should get the New Vivoactive 5 with the newest technology or the Venu 2S on sale. Its basically the same price. What is your opinion on that?
I just want to track my workouts and a little bit of Running to increase my overall performance
Hey, for what you want to do if I were in your shoes, I'd pick the Venu 2S on sale. They Vivoactive actually have the same heart rate sensor plus you can track your elevation with the Venu 2S on runs, which is a metric I find helpful for my runs personally.

I don't like that venu has mic and speaker, but it looks better.. hard to pick🤔 Is there a difference in the screens, curved edges? Hard to tell😅
If you don't want a speaker & mic, I'd definitely recommend the Venu 2S. You'd save a lot too, catching it on sale! And I haven't noticed any difference in the displays.

True! I find needing that feature means spending more money. Sadly, as HRV is only on the newest/more expensive/ more premium Garmin watches currently.
Actually dealbreaker for me, that the venu 2 doesn’t measure HRV status. I almost got the venu 3s, because I liked the materials better, but will probably go for the vivoactive 5. In the store today I noticed venu 3 is heavier on the wrist and thicker. So I think it will be less comfortable wearing while sleeping
@@marlieskoeman I did buy the vivoactive and tried wearing both and vivoactive feels so much lighter! Venu 3s also felt alittle more uncomfortable to me because the sensor sticks out more and i felt it digging into my wrist. I never wore watches before so might classify as a pussy, but when i put on vivoactive 5 instead it felt almost like wearing nothing! Now i have used it day and night for about two months, i often forget that it's on🤗
I have the vivioactive 5 in orchid but at the end of May I will be buying the venu 3s in the cream color

I think the Venu 3S is better! More stylish, more features I'd use, and smaller band is great! Just Wish it was cheaper 😂. And thanks for the video @AbbyBReviewing very helpful. I do like your shorter videos sometimes and the longer ones too, nice to switch it up 👍

That's a question you should ask Garmin, not me lol. But a great smartwatch is not cheap unfortunately.
