    OMG I just came across this randomly in my feed and I can’t thank you enough for this video. It really helped me with ESO. In fact, I started applying it to real life too! I flipped my grandma at the local pawn shop for a good profit (I had to compare prices, she was pretty confused but I told her we were going on a road trip). Next (as per your suggestions) I also went under the local bridge and ERP’d Khajiit-style with a few bums there for $20 bucks a pop (the other bridge had it for $15 so I really had to maximise efficiency here, they asked me why I was dancing like I was constipated so I said Arttea told me that I had to be smart and pay attention to the supply+demand). I expanded my gold flipping style and eventually ERPvP'd the local retirement home and strangely, many of the oldies there gasped, fell over and stopped moving. I just told the local nurses that Arttea said that I have to create a demand for my hot ERP. Anyway, when I got home, my girlfriend asked me where I was. I told her how a lady called Arttea told me to find a preferred, reliable and good gold making method. So I went out and found a few dudes and mega smooched them bussin ‘em down ERP sexy style. She proceeded to break up with me on the spot and now I’m in my Queen Ayrenn underoos sleeping in the street. BUT I AM NOT WORRIED! So far I’m making several thousand each week gold farming off my ERP dancing. I’ve created a niche market and I now control the demand for it. I am the only supplier of such extravagant stimuli, such raw sexual appeal that I have you to thank for it! I do several hours per play session though, so nothing like your 15 minutes. My ERP has grown to such heights that it is now considered very meta in my area. In fact, there is an all-new demand for my ERP and now I can charge increased rates (#Stonks!!). I was asked what the key to my ERP success was and, with tears cascading down my cheek, I earnestly say that a lady called Arttea pushed me toward my ERP business. She always said to be efficient with your time and to farm a particular item, so in my case it was just farming the local demand for ERP! To show my appreciation, I even dedicate some ERP-Elf dance in your honour! I call it ‘Arttea, the Flip and the Cheeky Mastiff’! You are very right. This gold flipping method feels *least* like a job. You truly are GOATED with the sauce and I have discovered my passion for irl ERP thanks to you. Your knowledge on the matter aided immensely. Thanks Arttea!

    I’m 100% in agreement. Pick activities that are either fun of relaxing. “Profit” from the intersection of those activities and their interactions with gold. For instance, I ENJOY fishing. And occasionally I get Perfect Roe, but I’m 90% in it for the peace it brings me. “Profit”.

    Not gonna lie, after learning flipping from you, the first time I found a good deal (10x profit😁) and got that "mind blown adrenaline rush", I was like "ahhhh. I get it now". So worth finding those diamonds in the rough 😂😂😂 Your channel has sooooo many gold making options there is literally something for everyone and that's what I did, found something I liked and stuck with it :) If you do anything with a job mindset, it's pretty much a job 😁 Thanks for all the options!!

    I recently applied the flipping method to treasure maps and used it to acquire most of the ancestral akaviri motifs and sell extras for a really good profit. I can't believe how often people actually list the ancestral motif treasure maps for 1-2k gold (or even less) and that I'm able to turn it into a gigantic profit on the regular.
    Thanks for your content. Super helpful!

    I got hooked on this channel with the vid about how to passively earn gold. I'm still not a huge fan of the most profitable activities in ESO, but I learned how to squeeze decent amount gold from doing stuff that I like to do. Thanks for that :)

      In my opinion, that is the most fun way to earn gold: *passively*, while you actively partake in some activity that you love.

    Let me say first that I really like your channel, your videos are super chill and extremely well done! Love listening to them while I do my writs.
    I feel however there might be a misunderstanding in this particular video as to why some people qualify flipping as a job. As you said, "you don't need a whole amount of time, you just need the right amount of knowledge". When people say it feels like a full time job, they are usually not referring to the time spent buying stuff in order to flip it (which is indeed fast), but to the time required gathering the necessary knowledge - which you have to do constantly if you wanna keep up to date, hence the "job". Since you are obviously very used to flipping, you probably don't even notice it, but you are for sure extremely knowledgeable about eso market shifts of many different branches. From your videos it seems you take part in many different aspects of the game at a high level (PVP, PVE, housing, fashion), and if you add the fact that you are part of 4 different trading guilds that probably discuss upcoming metas and probable shifts, that means you have good knowledge to begin with for all those aspects + an easy source of good info to be able to make your move before the market has time to react.
    If you compare me to you, I am a good PVE player that follows a meta at least a bit (vet trial HMs, part of some trifecta prog groups), but I have absolutely no clue about PVP shenanigans whatsoever, like at all, not even what sets or food are used there.
    So, for an average player, going into flipping means understanding the current meta, reading patch notes for upcoming updates, listening and reading predictions (from content creators or in-guild discussions that have access to PTS) for what's gonna be meta in PVP/PVE, checking material requirements for new furniture crafting, being aware of incoming events and their potential influence on the market - TLDR, actively following eso news and their analysis and theorycrafting by players so that they act before the market moves. All of that with the danger that if you're mistaken, it can result in a net loss of money. And on top of that, for people without eso+, storing those bought items while waiting for the market shift can be a true nightmare.
    Ofc, as you said, to each their own! Once you have a good basis and routine to get the info it indeed sounds like a very fast and easy way to make money.

    Second comment for the algorithm: i watch a lot of runescape videos and there are popular series all about flipping from x amount to y amount of gold. It would be pretty cool to see a series on eso about the same thing, like you start with some small amount (like 10k gold) you see flip to 1m or something and document the progress. At least in the runescape community, people eat that up.

    The true cost of flipping is keeping updated with the real value of items and which items to flip. The more people knows an item could be flipped the less money you make so you also need to discover.
    srsly if you think making gold then buying whatever you need in game is a good idea instead of farming them outright, then selling crowns is just one step further and much more efficient

    Some people flip high gold items at low profit to meet guild weekly sales minimums to avoid being kicked out.

    • @Arttea
      @Arttea  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It would likely be a better alternative to pay the weekly dues with gold in the guild bank. The amount of taxes that a guild collects from sales is very minuscule, and “dues” are more efficiently met with donations. The whole reason why a guild would implement a sales requirement is to help pay for the trader, and seeing as a donation does that more efficiently, I’m sure guildmasters wouldn’t mind if guildies paid their dues with gold instead of sales (especially if guildies are literally losing money over sales)

    • @gaiustacitus4242
      @gaiustacitus4242 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Arttea The guild I recently joined after being away from ESO for more than 2 years only requires you to make $50K minimum in sales per week. I can farm that without any effort. The old trading guilds I was in required $500K to $2 million per week in sales.

    • @Arttea
      @Arttea  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@gaiustacitus4242 ah yeah the latter guild there sounds like a much more serious one (in the sense that their trader must cost a whole lot to maintain ofc, that's definitely not meant to be a negative comment towards your other guild).
      Either way, most guilds impose those requirements to help afford the trader - usually, they include a clause for donations as well. So they'll say something like "dues are 500k in sales per week OR a 20k donation" (since these are practically the same thing). 3.5% (the equivalent amount of taxes that gets deposited into the bank from any sale) of 500k is 17.5k, which is fairly close to 20k.
      In this hypothetical situation, it would be much better for a guildie to simply donate that 20k to their guild bank to support the trader, than lose serious money flipping items at a loss to meet a sales requirement that accomplishes the exact same thing. I would absolutely never recommend doing that, as it doesn't help anyone, and that lost money would be better spent as a direct donation to the guild, or even kept in the trader's pocket!

      If you do not partake in the trading facet of the game on the PC servers, and only exclusively utilize game-generated gold methods (farming adds for gold, selling ornates to merchants etc) it will be very difficult to afford items. If you do trade though, you will be just fine.

    Flippers sometimes help us who like to farm regularly too. I farmed some Ayleid ruins and managed to loot an Ayleid Book Shelf Praxis. At the time, all guild traders sold them for 14-16M gold each and there were only 3 available. So in order to sell quicker, I tried selling it for 13-14M instead (I always sell in the chat). Found no buyers, just rude people mocking me for how expensive it was. However, two weeks later some flipper(s) had bought all the 3 ones from the traders and relisted them for 24M. This made it possible for me to increase my street price to 16M instead and AFTER increasing my price to 16M, I found a buyer more easily. Effectively making me sell the item for 2 million gold more than I originally asked for and also making it become the cheapest available. So flippers are helping everyone 8)

    When should I sell my jubilee motifs?

    • @Arttea
      @Arttea  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Based off of trends from previous years, the prices of motifs tend to take around 6 months, give or take, to recover to around where they were before the Jubilee tanked their prices.
      Do keep in mind that events such as the implementation of monster mask style pages may make it so that motifs that drop from *those* DLC dungeons take longer to recover in price on account of the fact that a lot of players will farm those dungeons for a chance at the mask (and passively collect a bunch of motifs from that dungeon while doing so).
