Joe's father is a master craftsman. Makes such beautiful things.
The time that you & your son get to spend with your dad is priceless !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe, I wait for your videos as i waited for Christmas morning as a child every Tuesday and Thursday. I'm 67 yrs old , have served in the US Army as a helicopter pilot, and as a military policeman in Wash DC. Thank you for the simplicity with which you present your activities. It is entertaining, wholesome (kinda like Mayberry RFD), and has a calming effect in my life. I tried the hay bales, built a 16x32 garage, and yes...I check my deer blinds as you do. I enjoy splitting wood and even enjoy stacking it. Keep up the excellent path you are on. Love how you watch over all you loved ones also. Zach has an excellent role model in you.
Thank you Mark for the nice comment and more importantly for your service. Both are greatly appreciated.
@markschitzler4897, Thank you for your service 🙏 👍 Your service helped Joe live his life his way.
Thank-you for your service!
Thank you for your service sir. Rob
I’ve been watching for the last three years all your guys in deer 🦌 camp
Joe, your son Zac is so respectful to you and your Dad. Bravo! It's very refreshing to see.
Really, how blessed are we to have experiences like this in our grand state of Michigan? Opening a cabin for deer season after summer's adventures is always a re-awakening, and akin to waking up as a child Christmas morning. You know every crevice, every flaw and perfection your cabin holds, and rejoice in the fact that it provides.
I'd love to just sit there and listen to your dad tell stores for hours.
He can literally sit there and tell stories for hours. Be careful what you wish for. LOL.
@JoeandZachSurvival That's okay Joe. Listen to him. My dad's gone home now, and I'd love to sit and listen. God bless, Rob
The trespasser might have been the tax assessor, thanks for the video joe, cant wait for ice fishing.
Greetings from West Fargo ND.
The Tent porch scene with your Dad was awesome...cherish those moments Joe.
Good luck this season!
Wow. Look at that TV Stand! Care and creativity in every detail.
28:00 my favorite part. Love sitting on the porch with dad and or grandpa and just talking!
God Bless your Dad for putting a new stand up. Started to slow down at 75 and hunt from my ground blinds now. Rifle opens on the 11th in Vermont and will be out there. Good hunting.
That new stand had 2 more ladder sections so it could go up to 21 feet. I suggested we leave it low like it is now because it will be much easier to get in and out of.
I am so excited to see the "Fruits of your Labour" be rewarded. Can't wait. Thanks for sharing.
For some reason I always love when you film your trip up and stop for fuel and supplies.
This will help with my deer season blues!! First time in my life I didn’t draw any deer, antelope or elk tags. I’ve been gowing through withdrawals waiting for a tent video.
Not being funny but is that harder than drawing a tag? I’m from Pennsylvania where a deer tag comes with your license. I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t hunt one year. Hope you draw big next year sir.
@@ericmonahan6580 out west we have to apply for tags in a lottery for most big game species……some states have general OTC tags for residents, some do not. I applied for 13 tags in several western states this year and didn’t draw a single tag.
Man do I miss deer hunting. All my hunting buddies have passed or moved out of state. I'm up in years now, and I get the urge, but getting a deer out of the woods on my own would be too much for me. I really miss going to Uncle Earls camp, the camaraderie especially. Memories.
I love watching videos of you, your dad, and Zach. Furthermore, when you feed the birds, they already know you and approach without fear. Now I'm just waiting for the deer hunting weekend movie, I love it!😊
Hey Joe,
I have been a long time subscriber and really enjoy your videos. Your channels are my favorites. I got my wife to watch and now she is also hooked! She asked if we have any more “Joe’s” to watch! In your video you reminded viewers that you do read all the comments and you said to reach out if we wanted to support your friend and get a knife. I would like to see about getting one and would appreciate the information. Thank you for sharing your life and making excellent videos. Hope you and Melissa and the rest of your family are doing well!
Take care,
-Troy from Kentucky
Thanks for the Halloween present Joe! Now I have something to watch once all the trick-or-treaters have come.
Joe, I would give all that have, to spent one weekend with my Dad up at the cottage and shot the breeze, as you guy’s are doing. I miss my Dad so much, cherish the time you have with him. And, make those same memories with Zach. Thank you for sharing Joe, you brought back some very fond memories for me.
I don't know what it is about your trips to the tent, but I look forward to deer hunting season every year. It seems like I've been watching you for years. Well....maybe I have.
Using the ear protection on a chainsaw helmet while sighting in deer rifles is the most Minnesotan thing I will see all week. Awesome.
Another great Video joe. Thanks for bringing us along with you while we get ready for deer season.
Oh yeah my favorite time of the, love deer camp videos
Yep thanks for filling the wood 🪓 box 😂 I really like have wood when I first get to camp just me!!! but in my case home 🏡
Wow ! It always amazes me of all that straight wonderful "tipi" poles just begging to be harvested! And with me here in Southwest Missouri, you couldn't find a straight tree to save your life ! LOL
Love your show!
You have a great family! I love Joe and Zach Survival ❤
Hey y’all it’s always good to see family doing things together no matter what, Joe those birds would come around you even if you didn’t have food because you have a kind soul and thanks for sharing! 👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯
Joe, my favorite part of the video is you and your dad just sitting on the front port reminiscing. More great memories made.
I remember watching the video when your granddaughter was born. That was a while ago. I've been watching it off and on ever since. It's always interesting. Good stuff. Looking forward to your next. Have a good one. Safe hunting. 👍👍😊🇨🇦
I love watching but my favorite part is when you first open the door and start your temperature thing on and start a fire. Enjoy all your videos
My favorite part of your videos, is watching the drive up there.
We will be over in McGregor this weekend hunting. Good luck this year to you all. Always look forward to these videos. We watch them at our deer camp. Heading up Thursday morning.
Say hello to everyone at Deer Camp. My dad and I are going up Thursday as well.
Joe I’m 22 as of last Saturday went through 4 years off the navy and almost finished with a construction engineering degree been watching since I was 14 love every second of every video thank you so much for entertaining me for so long
Thank you for your service and the nice comment Jacob. I am glad you are still watching the videos.
I have heard/learned that when the weather says you have a 50% chance of rain or snow it actually means that there's a 50% chance of someone in the area (Im not sure of the size of area but I am thinking like town size) getting rain or snow. It might not nessacarilly be in your vicinity but somewhere around you. So I guess the weather man is off the hook....somewhat 😉Also, it is heartwarming to see all you guys taking care of each other.
Dang, I've got an early start tomorrow so I'll have to save this until tomorrow. Joy of being a follower in the UK 🤣
Lots of deer starting to move around up here in Eveleth. Gonna be a cold one-good luck!
I'm with you Joe . I try not to ever miss when you go to the tent . I wish you the best of luck in getting yourself a deer . My phone wasn't working for two weeks and I got it fixed today . I just saw you leave your house and now your already at the tent. It is chilly here also. Cloudy. Time for some heat . It won't be long until you have to cross the lake to get to your tent. Enjoy your stay. Good luck.
I envy your freedom wish I had a tent property like yours! Love your content
Awesome 😎
Nice video. My husband has already used 6 of his 12 deer tags here in Georgia. The deer population here is healthy and amazing that hunters are allowed to harvest 10 does. Many needy families are being gifted venison this year. So glad we.do.not have wolves and have a 24\7 365 open coyote season with no limits. Looking forward to more ceramic shop and guesthouse videos. Be safe.
Great video as always. 35 degrees in West Virginia today with snow flurries. I am not ready for this crap. lol
That mystery man got me spooked
Glad to see your dad moving and grooving!
Really enjoyed watching 👍👍
Love these videos watching you get stands ready and new stand put up. It's one of my favourite times of the year . It just hoe we do it in Michigan. It gets me excited 😅😅😅
I have been waiting for this. Thanks Joe!
It’s so nice seeing you and your dad hang out Joe.
Glad to see your second wood stove made in my home state is serving you well.
Good luck on the hunt.
Love the Tent! I'll be deer hunting in a couple of weeks my self. My tent is the same as your duck hunting tent with a wood stove in it as well
Joe, your videos never disappoint!!!! Dad is definitely a gem 💎. I love when he visits too. Can't wait for deer season. Going to go watch Zack n Rose 🌹. Tyfs God bless you
After a day off me and my wife installing a winch on her Wrangler this was a great video to crack a beer and relax, thanks!
That’s a nice spot your Dad picked, the spot Zach was looking at is nice also. It’s a shame what the Wolves did to the deer population, I can’t attest to the rest of PA, but here in SouthWestern PA the Deer population has exploded. We are seeing more Deer then we have in 20 years.
Good Luck to everyone in your Rifle season, Deer down, but everyone be safe first
Man I'm happy to be back at the tent!
Our Deer season starts next week here in upstate ny. Weather not looking good going to be way to warm. Can't wait till you post your 2023 hunting video been watching your channel for years.
Every time you get to the tent it calms me down. Home sweet home. Man I could live out there or some place like it for ever. It's so awesome.
You'll have to talk to your son about filling the woodbin inside the tent before he leaves......ha ha. Really enjoy your vids!!
That squirrel was mad, you were taking his beer stash 😂❤
Thanks for sharing your amazing place and amazing time. I am certainly looking forward to your next installment. Feeding the magpies is always too precious for words 😊
Always a good video when it's a tent video!
dude that was so cool when you fed the birds. people think hunters are ruthless killers but most are actually more in touch with nature than your average city person
got to hand it to you Joe, been watching for years all the Duck, Deer and Fishing videos with very little results, I see it's all about family and traditions most don't do anymore. good on you Sir !!
Hello, I like to look at you, it distracts me because I had a cerebral infarction, keep it up, greetings from Holland
Love these videos 😀 Best of luck to you folks! 🎃🎃
Great to see how and his son helping out Joes father.👍
Your Dad should really enjoy the new stand for this year.
You are a blessed man
Good luck hunting this year
Deer hunting and duck camp ..definitely my favourites all these years ..love the videos Joe from outback Western Australia…
The Tradition continues.. I truly appreciate your videos, makes my day/night.. Looking forward to Deer season at the Tent.. Stay safe and have a great day.👍🤓👍🤓.Randy.
I cant wait for deer camp. Headed to the Michigan UP in a couple weeks to hunt at an old camp. Good luck this year Joe!
Awesome video as usual always look forward to the tent videos never disappoints. Glad to see your Dad looking so well especially with what he’s been through in recent years.
I used to collect old beer cans. Those are from the 1030’s nice find. Looking forward to Deer Camp the movie lol. Thanks for sharing!
Those are cone top beer cans they can be VERY valuable depending on condition and brand. I've found some that sold for $300 a piece. I love your videos have been watching for years.
Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos.
ever find out who the trespasser was?
Thank Joe. Needed a good long camp Video!!!!. Got my hunting game on.
I love the tent videos!
Greetings from Northeast Ohio. Tell Dad that he would be warmer in the deer stand that Zach made specifically for him about two years ago. Lol. It’s amazing how your dad’s health has improved
Joe have you ever thought about planting a couple of apple trees at the tree stand area? Out at the perimeter of area you shoot at. One to the left and one to the right. Maybe deer would come to that area year after year to eat there.
Or plant a bunch of those blueberry bushes.
I have had 2 planted in the Tent side yard. They have been planted there for many years but they just keep slowly dying. It is hard to find an apple tree that will grow that far north. The winters are just too harsh.
cool echo upon shooting. doing your thing ya'll! :)
I love your tent cabin! Good to see you back there.
Enjoyed the show Joe, good luck deer hunting!
Joe, I'm surprised you have deer with wolves in the area. Even though grouse spend alot of time on the ground at least they can evade wolves by flight. We have deer daily lol, I see far more deer around our house than I ever saw in the woods. Before rifle season opened we would spot on gamelands. And I have seen scores of deer around ranger stations. But after after the first shot ( unless we could mount a drive) seeing deer while sitting rarely occurred. Memories.
those beer cans are a neat find
Joe, I keep meaning to ask, what kind of birds are those that eat from your hands? So awesome to see. Ty for sharing. God bless, have fun. ~Lisa
Looked like a grain belt premium beer can.
I love watching anything at the tent
Another great tent video. Good luck this year Joe!
By the way u should put bath room up in the guest room & shit runs down hill as u know so its not a big job but looks great man & no reason why u shouldn't be happy bro everybody should be & you work for it so dont worry about what others cry about cuz they want it they can do it they just got to want it bad enough & you & i know it so thanks again bro cuz i for one appreciate what you've done for me & love waching some one with my attitude. Good luck & god bless you & yours
Great video as always Joe. Im leaning towards Those cans being Milwaukee Premium Beer.
Gotta feel sorry for some of these guys that think its all about what you kill - they may never get it - it ain't about what kill its about the hunt and time spent with the folks you love family and friends - is Sarah an artist? Great kids my man you and your wife did a great job .My baby is a Sarah a little older than yours ,can't wait for the hunt start to hear you say Sarah time to get up it's 4:30 -mine would say dad it's 4 frickin 30 in the morning!!
I hunt the western UP in Michigan. I understand what you mean about the wolves, they have devastated my area. It’s sad.
Nice different truck
It won't feel like hunting season without "Sarah, wake up, it's 4:30" lol
Good luck this season!
Love watching Joe and his dad work talk and doing things together...
Joe your videos are priceless.
Your dad is so talented
Hope you all have a good and safe hunting season. Good luck.
I’m so jealous we use to do all that stuff then we had one death and a property got sold and no more.😩 we had 9 people in our party . Now it’s just me and my son but we have a great time too!!!
