Irene is actually so talent-ly underrated. If Seulgi is the best dancer of 3rd Gen, how is it that Irene can keep up and look good doing it? Any lesser dancers would look out of place beside Seulgi. And not to mention Irene's low notes. Like damn girl, she sounds SO good too. RV really has no voids. But a lot of people overlook Irene's talent because she's marketed as "the visual."
The concept of Monster, as I understand it, is that they are two sides of the same person & they’re battling for control. You can see it in the choreo (particularly during the chorus), if you notice their dance moves are the exact mirror of the other. Also from what I remember, the Seulgi “side” thought she was in control but it was actually Irene who allowed Seulgi to think she was. Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s how I remember it.
So Seulgi's uncover was performed at ..... say it with me .. La Rouge it was seulgi's solo stage and it received Raucous support and so following Aseul's suggestion it was added on To their monster EP. other solo stages from La Rouge include the sauciest Irene solo dance to ever grace thine eyes. An elegant AF joy solo dance stage. Yeri's performing Dear dairy and a Jazz infused rendition of Light me up from Wendy with something special for the ladies.
Her vocals on this album were superb and I shouldn’t be surprised because she nails all the group harmonies all the time, but it still took me aback because she doesn’t get the chance to flex them all that often
before watching this for the first time, I watched something from Mamamoo where they kept calling Moonbyul as Moon Star, every time they sang Monster I kept hearing Moon Star.
