Crafting a Simple, Peaceful Nighttime Routine for Better Sleep

  • Join me on a journey through crafting a minimalist's bedtime routine. In my previous video, I shared how my new morning routine has significantly boosted my productivity since late January. Using a progress tracker has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining these habits.
    However, my nighttime routine is still a work in progress. As a natural night owl, sticking to a consistent bedtime has been a challenge. Despite my efforts, the time I hit the bed varies daily.
    One consistent habit, however, is my post-shower stretching routine. Spending about 10 minutes stretching helps me unwind and prepares me for a restful night's sleep. I consciously avoid looking at my cell phone during this time to minimize distractions.

    It's funny but every dog I've owned/fostered wants to go to be at 8:30 pm. I love your dog.

      That's so interesting! It seems like many dogs have their own internal clock for bedtime. Our dog also starts signaling that it's his bedtime around 8 to 9 every night. It's adorable how they have their routines, isn't it? Thank you for your compliment on our dog. We adopted him about 7 years ago, and this was my first time owning a dog. He's truly precious and brings so much joy to our lives. 🐾

    I have a rule to not bring my electronics into my bedroom. I go to bed at generally the same time each night and read fiction for 1/2 hour or so. And I drift off to sleep quickly after I lay my book down
