Dr. Katherine Munoz
Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine
Dr. Munoz attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine before becoming a resident at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With over 10 years of experience in advising and tutoring students and five years in selecting, interviewing, and ranking applicants for medical school and residency, Dr. Munoz has developed a deep understanding of the admissions process. She currently sits on the admissions committee for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Munoz’s 10+ years of extensive mentoring and admissions experience have provided her with insider tips for the admissions process from the perspective of admissions committees she is excited to share with aspiring medical professionals.
Dr. Jason Gomez
Stanford University School of Medicine
Dr. Gomez began his journey at Stanford, where he graduated with a BA in human evolutionary biology. While there, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation. He managed the Pacific Free Clinic, creating a course on the impact of climate change on human health that was integral to changing the curriculum at Stanford. His research focused on telemedicine, demonstrating his commitment to advancing healthcare technology. Additionally, he has experience with healthcare venture capital and private equity, further solidifying his understanding of the business side of healthcare.Dr. Gomez's teaching experience at Stanford University School of Medicine includes roles as a Student Tutor, Curriculum Developer, Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant for Applied Biochemistry. His journey to becoming a dual-degree holder began with two gap years spent working for early-stage healthcare start-ups, where he gained experience in the healthcare industry. His professional endeavors include co-founding Branch Care, where he serves as Associate Medical Director. Branch Care aims to provide high-quality fertility care in every zip code by equipping local clinicians to deliver care under the supervision of top fertility specialists.
