It goes to show that they all didn't hate April, they just hated her with Axl. She was a nice enough girl, but she was wrong for him and the way he acted when he was with her made him worse, not better. Now Lexie on the other hand...well, you know my thoughts on that!
I agree Axl and Lexie are perfect for each other, but all the family’s hate for April was wrong. She was very kind and caring towards everyone, just pretty dumb. She made axl kinder, for instance her actually telling him to be nicer to his mom, and that one episode where the two of them were ‘frolicking’. Axl and Lexie are perfect, and April deserves better.
April may not be the brightest bulb in the box but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a heart. She’s sweet, kind, willing to listen, and just her dressed as Cinderella makes her 10x more beautiful.
