Turns out I married Sue Heck. I never heard of this show until a million people said, "umm your wife is Sue Heck. You should watch The Middle." I'm not disappointed.
Sue is the reason I loved watching "the middle". She reminds me of myself and that's how I connect to her character❤ Best part- Eden Sher is Sue Heck in real life too!!
A thing that stands out for the actress Eden is she gives 150% dedication to the physical part of the comedy - she seems fearless. It's something that not that many girls/women do to the degree that she dedicates herself, with the way she rams into things, gets knocked around a lot, and tripping over stuff, taking falls to the ground -- week after week

For some reason, I think that Sue is like a brunette version of Jan Brady from the Brady Bunch movies! It is so apparent with both of them how eager they are to make their mark and to achieve... and they are both middle sisters! 😆👏🏻

I won’t lie, there are times that she annoyed me. Most times it was to the point where I don’t blame Axl for picking on her. But then again most older siblings are like that. But I also praise her for her optimism and determination.
She became my favorite character when she said she was Native American. I used to say the same exact thing, until they changed the choice to American Indian.
One of the best characters on TV ❤. She is so inspirational and always spread positivity, very resilient and capable of looking at the good side even in the darkest of moments. A pure and kind soul. An average person, capable of doing great things. I specifically remember her for her way of lying - " So on and so forth and what have you" 😂
DEFINITELY a huge oversight that she never got an Emmy for this role. She played a fairly ridiculous character but very believably and multidimensional in the same quality as Don Knotts' "Barney Fife" or Tony Randall's "Felix Unger."
I think they left out one of the best. Sue and her friend pretended to be adults to see an R rated movie her father Mike had banned her from seeing. Her parents find the ticket stub and Mike says he must punish her although they can't recall ever having to punish her before. But she starts dishing out punishment for herself. And keeps saying it isn't enough and keeps laying on more punishment on herself. And confesses to the further "crime" of borrowing her mother's sweater without asking. Sue is sobbing, Mike has said almost nothing and is at a loss for words.
Gosh I love this Girl ! Its amazing the way her character is written to never take revenge and always see the positivity in everything.
