Yep. And at 8:39 , I can see why the 3rd floor was closed off before the update done to the hotel. Just leading right to a staircase and the elevator led to in the middle of the staircase.
Kudos to whoever took over this property and renovated it. I'm surprised they didn't replace or modernize the Dover elevators and the infamous fitness center elevator.....*IT'S STILL ALIVE* I can't believe it lol! Hopefully they will refurbish the cab of the fitness center elevator when they've done fixing the pool.
The renovations to the place look amazing!!!! The place looked so awful, and now it looks SO amazing!!!! It does still need a bit of work here and there, but overall, they've done such a good job fixing the place up that this will be the place to be once again. I also love the new cabs on the main elevators as well!!! That horrible Dover that had been falling apart though, while it has improved in terms of the COP and floor, that thing honestly needs a new cab. Great video!!!! I can't believe I've now been watching your videos and videos of this place for 10 YEARS now!!!! Glad to see this place is finally getting new life!!
Yep. Other than that, why though? I thought they would’ve modernized this thing by now. And the 3rd floor being unlocked makes me in total shock, because really, what was there on the 3rd floor before the new owners decided to do work on this property?
That pool will be a great draw. Nice to see a place going from old and falling apart to new and remodeled. Except for that notorious elevator. And, it's still challenging to play tennis:)
I can’t believe they didn’t even touch the fitness center elevator😂😂 Honestly, I hope they don’t fix it:) Anyway, the hotel looks actually livable. That’s insane how different and nice it is!
I knew that an update like this would come along, and I knew how crummy the place was back then, but now, it looks fantastic! I've also noticed some more work left to do, but they've done a good job fixing the place up so far. The main elevators look better too. "Well, they replaced the floor!" Well, that horrible Dover needs a new cab, and an improved floor and COP is not enough. Overall, I'm curious what this place will look like when it's 100% fully renovated.
WOW, this Hotel looks SO MUCH BETTER! Compared to many years ago of neglect/lack of care. (I grew up watching these elevators on TH-cam in the early 2010s!) My question is about the Fitness Center elevator, why is the cab still the plain beat up white color!? I know there’s more work to be done to this property, but still. You would expect an improvement on that elevator. The continuous chiming is amusing to me, ha ha! The elevators at the Sheraton (Former Wyndham) in Lisle, Illinois has Dover Impulse Tractions from 1985 that function the same way, lol! (But some Dover chimes were switched with loud Epco bells.)
I thought the elevators were going to be modded. When I saw the main elevators original, I knew the fitness center elevator had to be original too. I was honestly hoping to see the floor indicator destroyed again. LOL
Adam B Yes, it used to have a C-Pitched dry powered motor. Now it has what sounds like Canton Pump ThyssenKrupp Pump. The pool elevator is probably I’m the original part of the hotel from the 1980's. And the bank of two Dovers serving all four floors were installed in 1998.
The hotel got some bad reviews, so they had to closed the hotel for about a year. Then they added some new features to the hotel which they are not that bad. They also remodeled the hotel from the neglected things that were very dirty and they finally pulled this off. I would agree that they invested a lot of money for this place to be remodeled as well!!!!
probably an emergency stairwell, but it looks like thyssenkrupp hasn't finished modding it yet as they probably are going to redo the cab and get the 3rd floor locked.
Damn, that new motor in the fitness center car is AWESOME! Good thing 3 was open so it could be heard going all the way up.

WOW! Whoever is in charge of this did an amazing job! Its pretty funny that they left the pool elevator alone though.. :)
Yep. Other than that, why though? I thought they would’ve modernized this thing by now. And the 3rd floor being unlocked makes me in total shock, because really, what was there on the 3rd floor before the new owners decided to do work on this property?
It's hard to believe THIS was the place that started it all for you; a little more than a decade ago!
Glad to see that they kept the Famous Dover Impulse! It's kinda funny too lol.
Oh I remember the old beat up Dover’s. But these are nice and new! Well done, Country Club!
that's a HUGE resort upgrade. keeping those elevators would be nice.
Thanks for sharing an update! Seriously, the fitness elevator though... that's just comic relief at this point.
That pool will be a great draw. Nice to see a place going from old and falling apart to new and remodeled. Except for that notorious elevator. And, it's still challenging to play tennis:)
I can’t believe the fitness elevator barely changed. But the improvements were needed and I hope this plays stays longer!
Wow, it does look a LOT better now! Hopefully they'll get the clientele to keep it afloat.
I can’t believe they didn’t even touch the fitness center elevator😂😂 Honestly, I hope they don’t fix it:)

What a transformation, it's so nice now!!
It’s great to see the famous Dover elevator again!

6:36 Ahh yeah... The infamous Dover at the (now former) Country Club Hotel! EVERYBODY'S' FAVORITE! 😂

Very very nice. You so have to do a room tour once this place is fully operational.
Awesome! Will you ever get a room here and to a hotel review?
In my opinion this needs to be owned by hilton. Then major progress would be made
I never thought I would see this place again! I wonder how much that new A/C costs alone...
damn that is such an amazing transformation
I think they also replaced the motor too on the crappy Dover one. They also added TKE logo
Finally they fixed the indicator. The indicator has been in poor since 2009
I like the new building!
You'll have to check out Tan-Tar-A...I mean...Margaritaville resort next.
That DOVER!! That Dover won’t ever get updated lol!
OMG I’ve been waiting for this!!!! AHHHH IM SO EXCITED
Three's unlocked. Let's not look at anything though.
That fitness elevator is just a joke at this point
They had to keep something part of their history LOL!
It looks like Lava Springs from High School Musical 2
I remember when there were toilets inside the doors
Funny, I remember too
Good ol Dover Elevators
I thought the elevators were going to be modded. When I saw the main elevators original, I knew the fitness center elevator had to be original too. I was honestly hoping to see the floor indicator destroyed again. LOL
did he ever do a review of this hotel and the rooms
I am so glad they didn't modernize the elevators
"Well, they replaced the floor!" XD
The fitness center elevator doesn't beep anymore.
On The Pool Elevator I Think ThyssenKrupp Replaced The Motor Because It Sounds Like A TAC20.
I Wish You Did A Hotel Tour About This Redone Hotel😪
On a taste meter from 1 to 10 it's a 4.
Where is this place
Lake Ozark, MO I think.
Did the pool elevator get a new motor?
It definitely sounds like it did.
Its now have an EPIC MOTOR.
Yeah that’s true. It sounds like a thyssenkrupp motor.

Great video when did this place open?
This year.

They also remodeled the hotel from the neglected things that were very dirty and they finally pulled this off. It was more like 4-5 years.
Those doors need major lubrication. The floor chirp is HORRIBLE.
Next thing you know, they mod it
What’s on floor 3 off the fitness center elevator? It just opens up into a stair well?
probably an emergency stairwell, but it looks like thyssenkrupp hasn't finished modding it yet as they probably are going to redo the cab and get the 3rd floor locked.
DRDOG101 but why would they make an elevator open up into a stairwell
@@logankojetin3606 its them who planned the building, and again it could be for emergencys anyways.
That is pretty weird.
DRDOG101 it just makes zero sense
