nice video but as a social democrat myself, despite social democracy being what you explained on paper, in practice, we can barely be considered socialist in my opinion social democracy works in a capitalist society but implements social welfare and social programs with government intervention in forms such as nationalizing key things and making necessities like healthcare universal alongside very strong ties to labour unions BUT they usually stay that way instead of "working towards achieving socialism"

You’re saying “democratic” a lot, but what you seem to mean by that is “liberal democratic” I.e. the established form of multi-party “democracy” under a capitalist system. The sorts of systems you are characterising as not being “democratic” are often *socialist democracies*. You made a 14 minute long video and completely forgot the most glaring example of socialism we know of. Which is referenced almost on a daily basis, who publicly avowed themselves as socialists, railed against capitalism and actually held the reins of government long enough to give us all an example that would last forever in infamy.
Why is it you included a dozen forms of socialism, many which have never seen government powers, but forgot National Socialism, which in the 20th century gave us Nazi Germany

You’re saying “democratic” a lot, but what you seem to mean by that is “liberal democratic” I.e. the established form of multi-party “democracy” under a capitalist system.
The sorts of systems you are characterising as not being “democratic” are often *socialist democracies*. Instead of political parties being funded privately as part of what is essentially a market (see America most obviously), socialist democracies are focused on the people making collective decisions, often at a hyper-local level.
