five star does make hard cover folders like that with hole punches and last year I had one like that and it was black! I found them at Target but if you have a Kmart near you they also sell them!

The FiveStar brand does make the folders in the hole punch style, but they are incredibly difficult to find and not every store will sell the different colored ones. I found it best to just buy all of my stuff from FiveStar on their website
If u want black and white mechanical pencils you could get them at Indigo Chapters

I have that exact same planner. Last year I bought the smaller five star one and I got so stressed out from it because I wrote big and it was small paper so it looked like a lot so because of that I threw it away and bought a composition notebook and made my own layout the rest of the year which helped but this year I got the bigger planner to see if I liked it better.
This summer was like 2 weeks, but I am excited for my freshman year of college.

simple black and white is better than color coding for classes in my opinion. the only color coding i do is like highlighter colors for notes

They make the five star folders that are the plastic. They make them in black and then make them with holes already punched.
I think FiveStar makes hole punched plastic folders but they have more than two pockets🤔😊 Just wanted to let you know if you want to check them out💕

For your folder, I went school supplies shopping at target and I got a black plastic five star folder that was 3 hole punched

i’m so nervous, i’m going to be a freshman in high school next year and there’s not a school supply list. i have no clue what i’ll need!
Usually teachers don’t expect you to have everything on the first day anyways, but from my experience, usually you need book covers for your text books, pencils, binders, notebook, pens (black, red, or blue). You could always look up online what other freshman people bring! :)
Don’t get your supplies until you go to school. Your teachers will let you know what you need. Don’t freak yourself out. -Sophomore
