Cute idea! I wouldn't bother with leaving the extra opening at the side. Just as easy to turn right-side-out from the top. But I have sewn a lot of things that had to be turned out and people who aren't as ancient and experienced as I am may want to use the extra side opening. So it was a good idea to show it.
