This is one of my favourite low cost high value fixed blades. I value the finger guard and the super grippy handle as I live in a wet country. A Mora Clipper can get a little slippery when it pours down. The sharp spine is nice, great grind, great blade shape. If I wanted to be fussy, not keen on the sheath but was bought a cheap knife with a beautiful sheath and this knife fits it perfectly.

Agree with every word! Yeah, the sheath's belt loop ripped right off of mine (and did with the Marttiini M571 I have as well) after only a week or two of use, but like you said, the knife itself can hardly be beat for the price!

Looks like a decent knife. I'm a big scandi grind fan so right up my ally.

Same here, I love my scandis. For my money, this is right up there with the Mora Companion, so if you've already got a Mora or two and like them, this is definitely worth checking out to get a similar quality knife at the same general price point!

Just purchased, online, a Timberjack with original and Kydex sheath, all new for $35. I don't plan on batoning with it. As stated, these knives aren't really made for that. The selling point for me is the Scandi and 90°. I have 2 Mora 511s and may or may not put a 90° on one. Got them both for less than $19 just for the Scandi. Thought about a Bushcraft Black but the Timberjack will do everything I need, at a much more affordable price. Love Moras but couldn't pass up the deal on the Timberjack and two sheaths. Sanding off a bit of the mold on the finger guard is a lot easier and less time consuming than filing the spine on a blade. Lol.
    Nice review video.
    Blessings,
    Stephen

Pitty it's Scandinavian grind, what is the worst grind to maintenance. Where you need special sharpening tool and very flat whetstone to resharp scandi, there is just piece of rock from river to resharp flat grind.

That’s a killing knife. In Scandinavia the men wear those around on little danglers on their belts. Numerous drunken killings. 🇫🇮
