It makes it even funnier that this film got very good reviews and did really well commercially. Jesus Christ man enjoy the success, don't be worrying about what Limmy thinks, Limmy hates most films.

@@kernel-pult you mightn't know but Limmy is a recovering alcho who hasn't had a drink in many years hahahha, so thats what makes the tweet and comment funny.
It's so pathethic because in the original conversation he seemed to be taking it well and it was a perfectly cordial and civil exchange, and then suddenly 2 years later his ego swells up and he tries to rewrite the story and be all like "Oh yeah I put that guy back in his place, he was all scared when I showed up." What a sad, weak little man.
I tweeted about this, saying something like "the guy who reminded you of this did you no favours" and the guy who reminded the director quote tweeted me with three 😈 emojis. He's a Limmy and Leigh Whannel fan, and wanted to get a spat going again for a laugh.
Limmy is a comedian. It’s his job to take the piss out of whatever he pleases. If Leigh didn’t like it, that’s fine but for him to act like it was a personal attack on his film was juvenile and made him seem insecure.
100% agree. The end of the film ruined the rest of it. It was like they introduced a new protagonist with a deadly set of skills who had no fear or struggle. It was in complete contrast to the rest of the otherwise brilliant tension of the film. Can't believe the writer took this (genuine) criticism so fickle.
We all know it was Limmy who reminded him about that tweet from his burner account. YOU LOOSE! To be fair, I know exactly the scene hes talking about where she doesn't pick up the gun. Wound me right up at the time too.
I watched the movie after seeing your review and was actually blown away - really decent film. I agree though there were a couple of scenes that felt out of character or odd. But I really liked the angle he took on it. The end 20 minutes pissed me off just seemed to keep going. I remember thinking it would have been a perfect film if it had ended in the asylum where he whispered "surprise" - but I get that (particularly due to the subject matter) the masses and the producers needed to see her "win".

Upset he's never been able to recollect the same quality as SAW had (still some minor plot holes but a great movie) Invisible Man was so average. Only thing that kept me interested was the fact it was filmed on location in my home town. Was shite and unbelievable towards the end otherwise.
Remember how the blonde guy in saw wasn't given a chance to win even though Jigsaw is all about teaching a lesson. He put his leg cuff key on his unconscious body and when he woke up in the bath, it immediately went down the drain without him even knowing. What lesson did that teach him? Don't bathe with keys? Why couldn't he use the hacksaw to reach the phone? He doesn't even try. It's only just out of his reach. Shit writer.
