Being down to earth and generally more normal in your mindset now is considered weird. Normality is being distorted into being mindless airhead nutcases who go all hyper and obsessed with literally any old garbage you're fed on streaming services and social media.
Most other "weird streamers" aren't appealing because their stuff basically boils down to "lol random = funny" which is really shallow and gets old quickly. Whereas, Limmy is a real comedian who is genuinely captivating with his ability to create artful and visceral comedic situation, both back on Limmy Show and now when interacting with Twich chat.
I mean, his improv stories alone is a testament to his genius ability. Second to none.

I remember coming across DeeDee one night at 3 in the morning all I could think is god have mercy is that me right now. Then the Limmy binge began and it never ended for me. Stuck with Limmy for life now. Always thought twitch was pointless until I found Limmy. Plus the Limmy dancing in the park laughing is forever stuck in my mind when I go to a park.
Aye same, a friend sent me the Dee Dee in the kitchen Toy Story sketch and I was hooked.

yeah and I felt like the clips of the limmy show used in that video suggested they didnt really get the humour fully, they just kinda showed the most slapstick-y moments without the context that made them good

got shown 'requiem' by my sister years ago and loved it, giggling away with my sis for once, then few years later, i come back trippin to my mates gaff and he sticks on the tv and we see a sketch, of this stoned lad sittin on a sofa just going 'fuckinnnnnnnn.......' and we can't stop laughing, because i know multiple and have been a 'dee-dee' but never had i seen it be so well put across to a general audience what its like. From that moment on, i was hooked and by fuck has it been great craic
