Morons don’t know what tap ins are anymore I swear. A tap in is usually waiting less than 8 yards in front of goal to GENtLy tap it in with seemingly little effort or no involvement in the build up of goal. When Ronaldo finishes a pass in front of net after a long counter attack run either started by him (or not), and he passes the ball off initially to make the run and ends the run with a tap in…this isn’t so much a tap in as it is a counter attack goal which takes work for example and haters call that a tap in which really diminishes the beauty of the goal from start to finish. There was a season at Real Madrid when he had a lot of tap ins and the rest the rare or occasional tap in (I call that amazing off the ball movement/ball anticipation)…but so does everyone else lmao and still aren’t as good as he was in prime at it…and besides Messi Ronaldo has most outside the box goals, free kick goals (tied with 8th most and then another indirect, countless in friendlies and 1 with Portugal u-20), beautiful counter attack goals, many volleys, crazy headers over 150, same with weak foot goals over 150, chip goalie or nutmeg goalie goals, 1v1 defender goals, dribbling past several player goals more than just a couple times (lol the hate which is more than some famous legends..next to Messi at this Zidane would appear amateur for example when he’s not), many solo run goals, round the keeper goals, back heel goals, scissor/overhead goals, tight angle goals, one touch pass/ finish goals, knee/dick goal(s), very good at pens, a HELL of a lot of long range right footed shot and weak foot (mainly right from 35 + yards), etc….
This is what makes him so dangerous. His skills might be good but tbh this ability of one touch finishes accompanied by the fact that both his feet are strong gives him a very big advantage over other people. I have seen many big players mess up in the box as they have to take an extra touch just to get the ball to their strong foot
