How is this with dark bird crap stains? I have my lovely canvas tent sopping with Iosso now.
woah- at first I said it did nothing- but now I'm going to recommend doing a project using this on a weekend so you have time. I had to keep re-applying it. Mix small batches; remixing small batches is better than mixing a large batch that will go dead. And it does.
I'd started at ten in the morning, watered the whole tent, then scrubbed it with a sponge mop and this stuff. It's a Sibley tent, so it's tall. I kept reapplying Iosso throughout the day, between other weekend jobs. At about ten at night, all the stains were gone, and the toughest one was fading- probably be gone by tomorrow. At first it looked like some parts were bleached, but after hosing off the Iosso, it was the same color as the fabric around the treated area. There's a fizzing that goes on with the product that makes you wonder if you've ruined your things- no, it's just residue.
I thought my tent was ruined, and anyone who knows the cost of good-sized Sibleys would understand how glad I am this stuff works. I wish I'd taken before and after pictures. That tent was a mess.

I bought me a 16 by 20 and I got smoke stains all over and around the stove jack it is literally black in some spots. It's not mold it's from smoke and grit flying out of the chimney and land on my roof. It even put a couple holes in my roof.the sad thing is I just bought this tent in July and it looks like it's a few years old. Do you think this stuff can clean it. I have to wait till spring before I can really wash it good. This is what Tent factory sent me in the mail. they said that this stuff would do the trick. I like how you used a mop. I'm definitely going to need one of those lol

Is this product safe to use on kevlar sails?
Is Oxiclean dangerous to clean sails then?
If it is safe on clothes and does not contain bleach it will be fine for sail cloth. The key is rinsing thoroughly.
