Back in the summer, while waiting for my daughter to cash in her chips, I sat down at a Double Triple Diamond 25 cent slot and won $350. It was my first ever big win. Walked around and found a bank of older machines and chose the $1 Triple Diamond.... played max bet of $2 and within 10 spins I hit for $360... cashed out over $400 for the session. Another benefit of low volatility machines is that you usually cycle your money through more which helps earn comps and tier status, besides just making your bankroll stretch longer. One type of machine I usually do well on are ones where you must play max bet to be eligible for progressives and/or says you get better odds for the higher credit wagers. I always seem to hit mini, minors and majors fairly regularly on these types of machines.

@@LightWarriorShamrock Not sure what type you're looking for, low volatility or the games where you need a minimum bet to be eligible for progressives. Low volatility games would be games like Double Diamonds, Triple Stars, blazing 7's....Basic simple games without big multipliers (< 3x's), progressives or bonus games. Games where you must bet a certain amount or max to be eligible for progressives would be games like Diamond Rain, Crazy Money II and Money Rain. Low volatility games are harder to identify because you need to know what you're looking for. The other games I mentioned will have it somewhere in the game rules or on the machine that there is an advantage to betting a certain amount. Of the two I recommend looking for low volatility games. The others I would cation to only bet what is needed if it fits your budget. These are still higher volatility games. You're just giving yourself a bigger advantage over the players that don't bet enough.

Wow , cruise ships have some of the highest hold percentage. I would save some time and aggravation take less than you plan t ospend and go to a railing and watch it float into the ocean , it will look pretty fluttering down into the ocean. because you will not beat cruise slots.

Sounds reasonable but I’ve had huge dead spin streaks on the one line reel slots too. I put $100 each slot at $1 /spin and most of time leave empty handed, even on regular double diamond slots.. hardly any big line hits. Also, if a slot is way in negative from a huge jackpot someone hit in past then that could also effect your play

In my opinion in depends what you’re actually trying to achieve by playing slots. If you think you’re going to make money playing slots you’re almost certainly wrong, so when I play slots I just assume I’m going to lose. I do it just for fun. Maybe the “old school” slots might give me a slightly better chance of winning but I find them about as interesting as watching paint dry. Call me an idiot, but I like the fancy slots with all the lights and sounds and bonuses. They might take my money faster, but I don’t gamble much and when I do I gamble responsibly and have a budget.

You tell how the slot is a random # generator. I believe that you have stated that it constantly generates random #s and the number you get, that determines payout or not is determined by whatever number is generated the moment you hit the play button. If that is the case, if you are in a losing streak with a machine, instead of going to another machine, would it also make sense to sit tight on the same machine to allow enough random #s to cycle back to some winners ( delay in play), or am I missing something?

Buffalo and Wheel Of Fortune are the luckiest to me. I let my energies draw me to one of these slot machines. After 20 mins of walking around, I will find the right one, put $100 in, hit max bet, and see what happens. If it hits on the first bet then I'll stay playing but if it doesn't hit on the first max bet I will cash out and try a different one. From my experience if I don't hit on the first max bet and I keep playing I will lose all my money. If I put $100 in the slots, I do max bet, and as soon as I win more than I put in, I cash out, and leave. I can make $300 last me all night in Vegas. I never let gold fever take control of me

I played 5 dragon. Two people on my left were getting so many bonuses. My machine was not! I cashed out. When I did the machine went into the match 3 and you get that $ prize. I accidentally picked the 3 red dragons, giving me the $5,023. Bonus win. I had been betting 50 cents when I won. May 7 ...2021.

Your correct. People like all the bonus rounds and flash and because they are attracted to it, casinos and game makers are putting more out. Majority of people are unaware that they traded a better chance for a flashier game with more bonuses and features.
People run out of bankroll quicker on high volatility machines because they miscalculate the amount they need to ride out the variance so are more likely to walk away with zero and people also get excited about huge jackpots. How does this advice translate to Washington state players?
It seems that most content providers for slots always play the lock and fireball types of machines. They seem to win jackpots. Are they really worth playing. And pig games.
They can offer a really high reward. Just always keep in mind that majority of the time it takes a lot of money and time to achieve.
You do realize that most of those “content providers” edit their videos to make it look like they win all the time. The reality of slots is everyone loses over the long haul. These extreme high limit players do win huge jackpots often but they lose a lot more than they win. When you’re betting $50 a spin or more, you will hit a lot of jackpots. But it will never outweigh your losses over a long period of time.
