    Nice one! I have bred and raised lots of albino corydoras but have since bought some long finned peppered and sterbai cories and haven’t had them breed yet. I will keep up the heavy feedings and cross my fingers! Your setup looks great and I hope you get lots of eggs and babies!❤

      Thank you💜. I love the patterns on the sterbais and peppers iv definitely been tempted before when iv seen them at the shop. And wow that’s amazing! Can I ask what did you feed the albino corys once they finished the egg sack? Iv been struggling to get the fry to eat and sadly the few iv hatched so far haven’t made it past the 3rd day😭

      @@BlinkyShimp I have had issues in the past with losing fry as well. It can be so difficult! I have had good luck with Sera Micron food. It is deep green so you can see it in their bellies. I put very little in. Sometimes wetting a finger tip and dipping into the powder, and then into the breeder box works. Are you using a smaller container for the eggs/fry, or raising them in their own tank? I use a separate plastic container or a hang on breeder box that isn’t plugged into the main tank water source until the fish are a decent size and until then I do daily water changes and siphon out uneaten food and waste once or twice per day.

      @@Mrs.M-Aquatics Thanks for that I’ll try get my hands on some and give it ago! Did you later move to feeding them baby brine shrimp?and The eggs and fry were in a plastic container in the tank with some aeration and I changed half the water a few times a day and kept the tub pretty clean. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the next batch😁

      @@BlinkyShimp good luck! Yes I feed them brine shrimp when they get a bit bigger, but sometimes I don’t hatch them out every day so they will still eat the Sera Micron or other powdered fry foods.

    First time seeing one of your videos, I have been watching a bunch of fish keeping and shrimp breeding videos lately and you popped up in the recommendations. Your production quality on the video is good, but there were a few times when your audio quality wasn't as good. Especially when you were explaining the things you were about to put into the tank. Your voiceover quality was great though so that's a nice mic you use for that. I'm partially deaf so I struggle with audio quality on youtube videos a lot, but other than the part I mentioned, the rest of the audio quality was good. I'll probably watch some more of your videos. I am interested in seeing how the Cory breeding goes.

      Thank you very much for the kind words and feed back I really appreciated that. I use my phone for everything so I completely agree there’s a lot of room for improvement especially with the audio I’ll keep it in mind for my future videos and redo what I’m saying in the voice over when necessary to keep the quality consistent . The fry raising has been challenging so far but hopefully I’ll get it nailed and have the follow up vid fairly soon.😃

    aren't those shrimp's could possibly eat the cory eggs?

    • @BlinkyShimp
      @BlinkyShimp  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It might be possible but I think it’s quite unlikely , iv never seen the shrimp anywhere near the eggs and iv had many eggs and fry since this video.

      Neocaridinas like most shrimps are detritivores, they don't eat anything "alive", won't touche plants but eat dead or dacaying plants, won't attack fishes or other shrimps but will eat dead ones and I believe it's the same for eggs, fertiles eggs will be spare but unfertile/dead eggs will be eaten.
      I've seen it in my aquariums, they don't touch snails eggs but once snails have atched they will eat any matter left by eggs or unached eggs.

    Can you please try and breed kuhli loaches never seen no one do it successfully

    • @BlinkyShimp
      @BlinkyShimp  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe in the future iv never had khuli loaches before but it seems like even well experienced breeders find them quite challenging so I doubt I’m the right person to have a crack at them just yet

    Give them a few days of conditioning and drop the temp after a water change. There will be so many eggs 🤞🏽

    • @BlinkyShimp
      @BlinkyShimp  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What temp difference do you reckon? Iv tried the cool water change method I did 50% that was 4 degree cooler which dropped over all tank down by 2 degrees and it got them spawning but still not as many eggs as I hoped is that a big enough temp drop🤔
