I don't think there are any other RCs that sound like that one, where most rcs will sound similar when driving around. It's like the braking sound from castle.
What my dude EARL!! Love the temp testing in this video. I rem long ago when the brushes systems became popular I had one and melted the entire motor's internal parts, overheated I guess. Learned my lesson back then!
I think your videos are the best and I’ve truly learned a lot watching your channel. I want to know what you would think about making a terminology video explaining what you mean and maybe some quick clip of you actually doing it, like when you talk about tightening diffs. Newbies would really benefit from it and I think it would help grow rc. I don’t mean getting it started but keeping the people that just got into the hobby. You could be the RC GOAT. 😊
Eerl was that with the belted Sledgehammers on the Wide Ultimate? I was doing some tests and I found I can get 2~3 mph faster with the non-belted with the way they balloon. I thought it would have been more but that was all I was seeing in difference. I tightened up all the diffs on both my Wide Ultimate and my XRT. I went with 30 front, 50 rear and the 20M in the center. All 3 diffs on both were almost empty new on both of them. I am glad I pulled them apart and checked them. Oh the hottest I seen on the motor the other day doing speed tests was 140 when I was on my 2nd battery pack. The first pack only hit 110. My esc was running around 82 and my batteries around 70. I am running in colder temps though with the outside air temp close to freezing. Edit: I seen at the end it was with the belted tires.
Earl do you remember if the Mojave 4s motor gets super hot? I was gonna use a Mojave 4s motor in the DBpro hoping for lower temps. It’ll fit and the DBpro is almost half the weight so I hope it’s easy on the motor. Same KV too.
Most all arrma rc run hot as they use smaller electronics then hobbywing recommends for the weights of all there vehicles but they adjust this with gearing
How long will a better rc last say if I buy a arrma 4s or 6s kraton or something similar not gonna drive it as hard as u guys but ya kinda bummed out with buying these cheap rcs everyone breaks in very little time kinda wanna spend some decent money and get one that will last more then a week before breaking.....
In my opinion depending on your driving style..... Either the 4s kraton or the 4s outcast are something that will last and take a beating...... Everything box stock needs a couple upgrades but you get them when you break the old and realize what you break a lot of.... But with normal driving those are really good ones.....
Earl put it all back to stock,it's the ultimate why change the arms and esc, it's already a ultimate, I mean you are paying 1,500 for the truck, why all these add on s is the truck not a ultimate?😮
XMAXX speaking the language of it's people🤣😂 chirp squeak chirp squeak

At 52 MPH that thing could cause some ULTIMATE DAMAGE
Great video as always Earl..... 👑💪
Awesome test run, cant wait to see it at the bike track.

Yes best to always check when gearing up this big 👍
Getting some TOGGLE THROTTLE here
Learned from the master 😮
Looks good. In the air there's less resistance. I think it should run cooler. Can't wait to see.
Earl like way it run New gear making it good cool job Earl all right 👍💯💪

Yes I’ve done several but will be showing it again
I would like to see you do a speed run with it Earl cool 😎 good video 💯
I would have expected 55 with that gearing. Pretty good either way

Looks like it's running fast 👍 R u running the belted tires ?
Yes stock
Hi Earl, I’m curious, are the J concepts magmas much heavier than the traxxas belted sledgehammers? Love the content! Thanks
Yes
I’m going to give these gears a try. Temps better with this compared to 46t n 18t?
