Popping a tire that's nothing last Sunday my dad broke a right front ball joint on a Polaris 700 sportsman twin on the trail and we spent 1hour and a half trying to get it so it would stay and we could get it back to the truck. Later when we got it to stay I had to tow it back with my little 02 Honda recon 250 with almost bare stock tires about a mile and it did it but it sucked!!!
I have this carrier and it limits my rear view plus limits access to gear. It opens easily and I don't have to hold it. I plan to replace with a Tusk carrier that holds the spare high and out of the way.
@@SnoFreaxx my brother Simon.. you are 100% correct! i dont know why that shitbag polaris "salesmen" ( i guess) should have showed that as a selling feature, but the dude sucks!!! you cant just unhook the clamps and swing it open. cuz you will bend the f@ck out of it, you must "swing it NICELY" open.. and gingerly shut and pin it! best one on the market.it gives you clearance for your shit and does not look stupid like the ones that hang way high or hangin out the back lookin like crap...that rhymed ...kinda like a lymrick ...ha haha ha

My buddy has that mount it sucks he has to open & hold it everytime to get to his cooler. Best mount I've seen is o e the clamps on to a rear bumper

They didn't think of everything...what they should do is put it on hinges, pop the pin swing it open get to your cooler or your storage.
Does this tire carrier go up when you unlock the 2 pins at the bottom allowing you to access the cargo box ?
But where do u get the jack when u get a flat tire?

looks like you just pull the pins from one side and it would swing and you wouldn't have to take the spare tire right off
