- Welcome back to another video! Today we head down to the Port of Miami to see Explorer of the Seas, Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Bliss, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Armonia, MSC Divina, MSC Seaside and the Scarlet Lady. No ships are sailing with passengers for the foreseeable future, so I am getting as much footage as I can for all of you! Hope you enjoy!

Loved, loved, loved this! I was planning an 8-day Southern Caribbean in April, but had to change plans. There's something magical about the first day of any cruise -- from arriving at the terminal, the hassle of checking in, to seeing your cabin for the first time, etc etc etc. It's amazing how you miss the simple things you take for granted or find inconvenient. Your video captured that first day cruise moment very well. Thank you.
We went on a S. Caribbean in July 2019. Ports were Grand Turk, Curacao, Aruba. Beautiful ports!

Was on the MSC Seaside last May. Great cruise. I hope we get this behind us sooner than later.
Wow, that was a great video Justin. It was awesome to see all of these massive ships docked together. As I have mentioned before, I like watching PTZtv's live PortMiami cam, but the view is nothing like this. I enjoyed seeing the terminals close up as well. I tried to do a Google Street View of the roads on Dodge Island but couldn't find anything. This was everything I had wished to see up close! Thanks so much!

Don’t forget that each ship has approx 1000 crew on it (on some ships they are quarantined too) who will be stuck on the ship until further notice. They can not get a flight home to their home country even IF they were allowed off the ship. I hope they are at least offering free wifi to crew so they can connect with their families all over the world. ❤️

I watched a vlog this morning of a royal Caribbean cruise worker on the oasis of the sea , he said they were going to be pulling into port in Miami to off load a lot of crew and sending them home. And probably the symphony of the sea also. They have been sitting in the Bahamas for a week now.

Yeah met Chris. March 1. Second to last cruise after they canceled all cruises. It was great first time experience. Won't be my last.
O wow I was wondering where the Symphony was. We’re supposed to be sailing on her May 23rd hopefully.

They go out to the ancore area because of port charges. Go to haul over cannal and you can see them parked out there for a few days
So many MSC ships in Miami.
MSC worst food and we tried them 3 times.

I had an amazing cruise scheduled to begin this week on March 22. It would have my very first cruise and I was super excited. Hate that it had to be canceled, but this is not the time for trips. Will look into taking another trip once this crisis has passed!

We had a Marine reunion cruise scheduled in the 3rd week of May. Carnival Magic! We are very sad and disappointed, that we postponed an 8 day cruise.
Was that the May 17th sailing? If so that's when my cruise was/ scheduled
If you go to the children's museum in Miami near the sea plane base it's right on the water really close to d and e ish. That's where I go when I am in Miami to see some ships leave

Here in Southampton UK we have P&O Britannia and Ventura out of service and RC Allure of the Seas presently waiting to return to Spain. Tomorrow Queen Victoria back in to off load and next week Queen Mary2 and P&O Azura back from world cruises. Presently only 4 berths for cruise ships so 2 P&O in Dover and 2 Fred Olsen in Scotland out of service. Never thought I would see this in my lifetime but it just proves we cannot take too much for granted!
Alan Thornton allure has had her refit cancelled. And is due to sail out of southampton for the what was the summer season.
Also, azura and queen vic are off to Portland anchorage. Qm2 will stay at qe2 terminal, Britannia, Ventura and I believe allure are staying put. Then in April you also have Iona launching.

It’s crazy how the Carnival Prides gonna be docked in Miami because it’s usually docked in Baltimore like this virus really messed up everything

Yes we were due on 8 night Spain and Portugal on Anthem of the Seas 15 May which we booked this time last year and I cannot tell you how disapointed we are as that obviously will not be going anywhere for the time being!
We had two side-to-side cruises booked for March... but cancelled them well in advance for a different (other than corona virus) reason.
What happened to Symphony of the Seas?

Love the footage...but you REALLY should do some quick and simple editing to remove the coughing and sniffling. I edit AV every day and it is SO simple to do...would make the vid so much better.

I have been on the explorer of the sea we got really lucky we got home like a month before this started we also went ona ship before that so we went on two cruises and i was so happy we did not have to miss it
I really hope all cruise lines will go back into business.
I’d say RCCL and most others will, might have to lose a ship or 2 tho. Carnival might be history...

I’m being honest I don’t think any cruise ships or cruise lines will go back into business by May, June or even July, but i really hope not.
patrice clemons RCCL just extended their shut down til May 11th. I’m sure other’s will follow suit..

We were on the Encore getting offMarch 1. We were so lucky to get off. We loved the cruise.
I love the cruise ship, Norwegian! Nice job with it. The one thing I hate about the Encore though is that I literally had to pay for basically everything and I was mad😤😡🙄. For all the entertainment, I had to pay 200 something dollars. I mean, what the heck, right?
Kathleen Ryan Ikr! I hated how you had to pay for everything though. Go carts, arcade, laser tag, VR, and just ONE GAME OF POOL cost me two and a half freaking dollars. What the heck Norwegian? Are you guys literally that bankrupt?!😡😤🙄
Really glad I completed my cruise on Harmony before the Coronavirus situation hit the fan. I got off March 8 and days after everything started to get shut down.
It’s really such a fcked up situation. I was a travel agent and got laid off because of corona. The cruise lines have lost millions if not billions of dollars refunding people or giving credits. Travel agents get paid commission so when clients cancel we pay back that commission which means we have a negative check and owe the lines. It’s REALLY bad. The moratorium was supposed to end in mid April but it’s being extended until May

I was supposed to be on the Allure of the Seas sailing out from Barcelona on May 10 but it’s obvious that’s not going to happen. RC hasn’t sent me an email yet but I’m sure that will happen soon.
Dang! And RCL is supposed to get back in service the day after. I'm supposed to sail Carnival on May 17th, I'm hoping that trip will still happen
VCMSVCMS ......I doubt if your going to sail on that day. It wouldn’t surprise me if anyone sails until November. I’ll just wait another year and a half before I book a cruise if I’m still alive.
I'm going on Independence of the Seas in September and I really hope everything is better by then

There are a couple of reasons they leave port. Running the engines is not one of them. Remember, these are cities on the ocean. Every city has waste. Ships need to get rid of that waste and they can not just discharge it while in port. Ships also use incinerators to burn trash. Ports also hate that.
I wonder if these cruise liners could sell a few ships to be used as medical ships to the federal government? Not saying their pride of the fleet but ships that are older. No doubt they’d stay in the US fleet in case of future pandemics.
In the last 8 years I've been on 4 cruise ships. 3 had viral infections they struggled to deal with. It seems passenger ships are good breeders of an initial bug infection and always have been. Not sure they'd make good places for recovery.
Norman Meharry I agree however they would need to be retrofitted to meet hospital standards. I think most of the sickness come from the buffets, touching railing and pools. That would not be how these ships would used. They’d be owned by the government and be used like the medical ships sent to NY. They’d basically guy the ships interiors and replace all finishes.
Wow! And I thought we were crowded with cruise ships with 5 anchored off our coast. The WA gov is bring very strict not letting them dock, can on,y imagine how those poor stranded passengers are feeling 😢😷

The president says warm weather makes the flu go away. I heard from a floridian it will be 90+ and it has no effect, big problem in Miami.

. 75 to 90% of all crew members are being sent home each ship carries anywhere is for 1500 crew member all the way over well over 2,000 and almost all of them are flying out of Miami International Airport today and tomorrow no one's testing them at best they're given a temperature test

That's sad to here, we had similar issues here in AUS where cruise ships were allowed to dock and disembark after being tested but before results were confirmed. Not helping the situation
I agree they should be tested. They are going to some of the poorest areas that cannot handle this virus
I bought some carnival at $10.29, it will come back, things will improve .
Many people will not return to the hobby of volunteering to be a captive on a cattle car.
I missed crusing so much, they should do a 30 days safe quarantine cruise where they pick up certified clear of coronavirus passangers and jusr anchor somewhere in the middle of Bahamas or somewhere in the middle of carribean seaz , so safe and soak up the ships facilities and sun. I would be the first to jump on it with my family, kind of neat, almost likr the servivers of this prndamic and good giggles ' the safest floating cities '. I missed Royal Carribean so much!!
Those are not going anywhere, those can be commandeered and used as hospitals.

AC Supersport don’t even think that any cruises will start again until at least September. People need to realise that this virus should now be called a plague. Maybe some people will then take it seriously and go into quarantine. You life is more important than any cruise.

Hello is there a railroad fan or ship/railroad fan that is interesting in setting up a virtual railcam(so that the many vr railroad fans can see livstream action of trains going over the Miami railbridge)If you do,you'd get a lot of subscribers.(even if you just set up a cellphone livestream at the port of Miami oneday a week (or during the weekend )you'd get alot of followers of your livestreams.)

It has just been determined by the CDC doing tests on board the Diamond Princess found that 17 days after the people disembark the ship the virus is still present on many surfaces they went into cabins and found the virus present in cabins the virus can go airborne and then turn into an aerosol formation and go throughout the ventilation systems so my concern is many of these crew that they're letting off to go to the Miami International Airport may be infected
James Conway far greater things to worry about. A vehicle is far more likely to kill you then covid 19. Viruses are contagious,we get them and recover. Perspective,getting hit by lightning is a much greater threat

I used to love ocean liners/passenger liners but these monsters are awful. Who in their right mind would want to be among thousands of other people. The idea of being at sea was to enjoy the peace and to mix, meet new people yet it’s all private balconies. I’m showing my age. Grumpy and Old.
If you want that kind of experience, look into Windstar Cruises. We took one around the Tahitian Islands in June of 18. INCREDIBLE!
Our boat held 148 passengers and over 100 staff.
I hope this global corona crap blows over soon because I work at the port and its been 3 weeks now with no work!
