KOTOR 20th Anniversary Widescreen Fix (With HUD FIX)

Hey guys, British Guy Gaming here.
Today i am doing an updated KOTOR Widescreen Fix for the 20th Anniversary of KOTOR and an update on one of my more popular videos.

*If the camera pans to the top left of the screen, here's a fix*
1. Browse local files for game.
2. Right click Properties on swkotor.exe
3. Compatibility tab, click "Change high DPI settings" near the bottom.
4. Under "high DPI scaling override" checkmark "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:" and select "Application".
5. Click ok and apply if prompted and this should fix the issue.

is there HUD for 2560x1080? I'm not sure which one to use.

This actually worked, thank you, it fixed the resolution, but now everything is so tiny I can't read anything or use any of the buttons.
Is there a way to fix that?

Every time I change it in ini it changes the swconfig back to default and versa when trying to do 4k 3840x2160

Hey thanks for the video, I’m having a strange issue
When I patch it, it says it’s successful
However when I open the game it reverts to like 800x800 resolution
Even my ini file keeps changing after saving??
I’ve followed all the steps too :/

Seems to work with K1CP, which I installed before. At least you don't overide any files in Override folder, which makes me guess so.
I'll come back if it crashes ^^

Ive been having an issue where my mouse is off center and im not sure how to fix that i tried it with the "Enable Hardware Mouse" and it still didn't center my mouse when im trying to go through menus i tried changing the DPI for it as well in the compatibility settings and nothing. anyone got a fix for the solution?

Thanks for the help! However I am having issues running the game in widescreen. My monitor runs at 3840x2160. When I load the game in 1920x1080 (after following your guide to the letter) the screen acts like its zoomed in to the upper left hand corner.

I found a fix (I was having the same issue)

my game is in widescreen but it looks like shit its not actually running at 1920x1080

had to change it to 1920x1080 in the in game settings
