Xenoblade taught me something. It taught me that nature is beautiful. It taught me that friendship is truly important and should be cherished. It taught me that sometimes you have to give things a chance. It taught me that a good story can make a man cry. But most importantly, it taught me that music is moving, music can be life changing even. Xenoblade Chronicles taught me that, with enough motivation, anything is possible. Which is why my future career is probably, no, is definitely going to be composing video game soundtracks.
God, this brings back so many memories from when I first played it on the Wii. The way the music starts soft, quiet and somber but as it builds up it becomes more and more bombastic adding more instruments until it becomes this epic score that just sends shivers down my spine every time. Not to mention the minimalist title screen. All you see is the sword, the monado, sticking out of the ground in the open field as the wind gently blows. It is the central focus in this, not the characters nor the titans. It leaves you wondering just why this blade is so special and what exactly is its true purpose in all of this? God, I love this game!
The very first time I launched the game, I was immediately moved by this theme. I sat and watched the full day/night cycle, already feeling emotional, before I even knew what the game had to offer. A true masterpiece.

Hearing this again in Melia's hero quest is somewhat nostalgic. I've finished the 3 games just this year and it feels like it's been a long time since I played the first Xenoblade
This game is just something else, ive been gaming since the 90s and i can say this is one of my favorite games ive ever played, ive also played XC 2 and 3 Aswell and while they're also really good games this one just has something special about it, it just feels like a complete experience from the start all the way to the end.
Xenoblade chronicles 2 was my favourite jrpg until I played the first one. I want a 3rd pleaseeeeee. Too bad those games don't have half of the media coverage that ff7 gets...

I honestly prefer the title screen of XC1 over XC2. Edit: THe theme also. The 2nd game's title screen isn't bad but not for me. Edit 2: Still like it over XC3.
