My dad was driving a train and saw the fire on the hill and said it has to be the supper club. Nothing else up there was that large. Very tragic.

I wasn't in school yet in 1977, but I've had family members who were familiar with this nightclub and what happened that night. I think that they should leave this hollowed ground alone! It's a Monument to those who Died There! 💀☠️💔

I could not possibly imagine living in a place that sits on the ground where all those people died. Developers making money off of it is in very poor tastes.

Just a year before we saw John Davidson, at a club in New Jersey.

Was 19 from Covington. Never understood why there was this overwhelming desire to go see John Davidson. No offense but he wasn't exactly my idea of a reason to go out to a nightclub. They had a 1000 people in that room to see Him?

They make a big deal out of the Beverly Hills Supper Club not having a fire suppression system sprinkler system and smoke detectors. Certainly, would have helped but lost in that narrative is KY fire code did not require commercial buildings to have either back in 1977. I am not making light of the loss of life, but please stick to the requirements of the time. I am not saying things were not done that were improper but do not blame the owners for not having equipment not required at the time.
