You can't get a better quartet to sing such amazing song. Just listen to the lyrics sang by the angelical voice of Ryan. I miss this group every single day 😢
Ernie I have watched your videos for 5 years! I love y’all and you are amazing! I’m 71 years old and God has given you a lot of talent to reach the lost!❤🙏🙏🙏💙💜
I AGREE! Each and every one of them had absolutely magnificent voices and they blended those voices together so heavenly! It is a crying shame that they are not still together! They seemed to enjoy themselves as they performed in a way that is rare to see! I miss them too!
My absolute favorite music group since childhood - this lineup was such a memorable one for me, and this album/concert was my all-time favorite. I literally still have - believe it or not - the VHS and the cassette tape that I nearly wore out! They were my inspiration and faith builders through song. How I miss those days!! I never got the chance to hear them live until my late teens, and at that point the members had changed (which made me sad a little to have missed out), but that's okay 'cause I still love 'em!!
Thank you for blessing me your songs to minister to me. I listen to your group warm my heart with Jesus. Pray for me to succeed with my job so I can see your when God blesses me to
I really love this song because I really need some prayers from my Christian brothers and sisters right now. Because I was diagnosed with COPD that keeps getting worse
Clarence Lloyd Thats why you love it Clarence, cuz your 73! Just kidding! I'm 65-so I'm in your age-bracket too! They did a great job of that song! That lead singer!!
I simply love this song. I love Blues Music. They have fun wit this song which I think is great. We ALL NEED prayer every day. This old world is falling apart & needs prayer so desperately.
Pray for me when I'm lonely; pray for me when I'm blue Ask God to send down a blessing And I'll do the same when I'm praying for you We all need loving care and our names just mentioned in prayer When the storms trouble life's raging sea Whether it's morning, noon-time or night time, pray for me Pray for me, that I'll be faithful; pray for me that I'll be true Ask God to lead me, ask Him to guide me And I'll do the same when I'm praying for you We all need lifting up when the road we're walking gets rough When only trouble is all we can see Yes, in the bad times, good times and sad times, pray for me Chorus: I need the prayers of those I love You pray for me, and I'll pray for you We have a Heavenly Father above Who still hears His children and carries them through Whether I'm right, whether I'm wrong Crying the blues or singing a song When you're interceeding, remember my plea, Pray for me
Thanks a lot for the lyrics of this beautiful song from Ryan Nicholas Seaton. Love this melody and the lyrics plus the antics of the singers (all of them)
A great song Ryan Nails it and frankly I really miss this four! Now I like the others too but these guys I guess because these guys were the ones I started listening to.
Tim Duncan the bass singer here has his own gosple group now. And doug anderson the barritone singer here is in a gosple trio now and ryan setein the lead singer here is doing solo stuff now and ernie haase the tener singer here is still with them since he is the leader. Paul harkey is the bass singer now Devan maglamery is the lead singer now. Ernie hasse is still the tener singer And Dustin doyal is the barritone singer now.
The languages are probably different than I remembered but I was present during the personal audience with Pope John Paul II when Shawn Obrien and Fr James Callaway wrote Pray For Me. The song was written when the Pope visited St Louis in 1998. I am upset that Gloria Gaither stole the copyright and changed the wording at the end. The correct wording was: PRAY FOR ME, MY FRIEND. PRAY FOR ME.
The opening part of Pray For Me was written in Polish by Pope John Paul II. Shawn Obrien translated the chorus into Spanish. The descant was written in Portuguese by Fr. James Callaway. Fr. Callaway translated the chorus into Japanese and the Pope and I wrote the descant in Mandarin. The descant changes to South American Chinese Creole. Then the chorus switches into English. The descant is in Gaelic. Then the chorus switches to Latin and the descant is in the Hopi Native American language. Then I added a descant part in Aztecan. I was the one who composed the tune.
+Gabriel Lovin ... I tend to agree with you, but I don't think it's the song in and of itself, it's the 'delivery' by Ryan ... I think Ryan is a fantastic singer but his delivery here could only be called 'sexy' ... especially at the beginning.
I don't know whether you agree with her or not. I don't think I do! I don't really agree with you either but you are certainly entitled to your own opinion.
@@claudettehenry8108 Damn, and I didn't realize it had been 3 months since I wrote that. But yeah, Ryan Seaton is the guy who did actually sing it. He left Signature Sound to go to the group, Canton Junction.
Thanks To Calv'ry was written by my parents on August 2, 1972. The song was written in German and translated into Tussex by my mother. My parents were both Hippies and had thought monitors. I am very upset that Gloria Gaither stole the fact for this song. It was written at the time my parents were reiterating back into society. My mother survived the Summer of Love in San Francisco in 1965, Woodstock in 1969, and the Fall of Love in Quebec in 1971. She was part of the Menager Band. My farher was part of the Modified Band. I am upset that unscrupulous people want to try to keep their music suppressed! Most Amercans who are younger don't understand that every State University and some private colleges required students to become Hippies as a qualifications for college entrance. Once a person made a commitment to one of the bands, it was suppressed to be a leftime commitment. Quite a few people who were upper class needed college education and they hated all the things that their Hippie band required them to do. I am upset that Gloria Gaither and others like her stole intellectual property from such vulnerable people!!
Every song I have heard become a big Gospel music song you say you wrote. Different versions of ur life. Like in 1 you said your mom threw acid in ur face when u were blind and u wrote song after that. Then about same song on another site u said u wrote for a wedding ceremony etc....
good thing Ernie Haase has his name in the group (boss/Manager) because otherwise he would be asked to leave --- of the four in this group, Ernie is the odd man out the other 3 carry the group
Because Ernie Haase formed this group as you notice "The Gaithers" over the years have different members "Bill Gaither" as "Ernie Haase" formed the group
They are all featured at one time or another on different songs. This one was made for Ryan, and did he ever nail it. Doug does Forgiven Again. Tim is featured on Stand By Me. Of course, Ernie owns Oh What a Savior. Ernie is the owner of the group.
im really starting to feel this is not worship music... its really jazz or rock with christian words... which should not go with eachother. i love them as a group, awesome talent but some of their music should not be sang in church.
Their music appeals to many different generations of music be it Jazz, Rock, Country or Southern Gospel. They reach all ages of people and this day and time we need to thank God for Ernie and SS for reaching everyone.
+Kim Mincy I agree with you to an extent but we have to understand that principals do not change with generations. I think this is where we lose control and the majority of youth is no where near GOD because of us saying "it's ok do what u think feels right" with no guidance ... Just what I feel and not starting a fight
Are you claiming that the lyrics of this song - with no smut and/or obscenities - will cause young people to draw away from Christ and go and commit crime? Are you claiming that Ryan's action on stage - picking up the micropho ne stand and gliding to a side - will cause young people to walk away from Christ and commit crime? Are these the sins you are pointing out?
Gotta agree with you.......They're a great group, wonderful voices, nothing wrong there, BUT while I watched and listened, what came to mind was Elvis Presley.......Wonderful song, but like you said - the delivery. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, as you are to yours.
You can't get a better quartet to sing such amazing song. Just listen to the lyrics sang by the angelical voice of Ryan. I miss this group every single day 😢
These are my favorite members of Signature Sound !! Wish they could get back together !! Great song, too !! ❤️💯❣️🙏🙏🙏

Ryan knocked it out of the park! I listen to it over and over.
You can see is a little nervous at first, but ABSOLUTELY nails it. What a blessing and is on my playlist.
I love how these guys have fun too. Like Cathedrals. Wish some others would realize this! Rysm you guys r awesome
STILL FEEL THIS IS THE BEST SIGNATURE SOUND EVER...... I MISS THESE GUYS.
I AGREE! Each and every one of them had absolutely magnificent voices and they blended those voices together so heavenly! It is a crying shame that they are not still together! They seemed to enjoy themselves as they performed in a way that is rare to see! I miss them too!
Yes I totally agree
I agree that these guys are on fire 🔥 and they’re on 🔥 for Jesus. Amen?

wrn1979 what did u wear at the concert cause I think I saw u
What a great voice Ryan has been given by God, it so blends in with the rest of the SS and not forgetting the marvellous musicians.
they are AMAZING especially Ryan Seaton the lead singer
Pray for me when I'm lonely; pray for me when I'm blue
Ask God to send down a blessing
And I'll do the same when I'm praying for you
We all need loving care and our names just mentioned in prayer
When the storms trouble life's raging sea
Whether it's morning, noon-time or night time, pray for me
Pray for me, that I'll be faithful; pray for me that I'll be true
Ask God to lead me, ask Him to guide me
And I'll do the same when I'm praying for you
We all need lifting up when the road we're walking gets rough
When only trouble is all we can see
Yes, in the bad times, good times and sad times, pray for me
Chorus:
I need the prayers of those I love
You pray for me, and I'll pray for you
We have a Heavenly Father above
Who still hears His children and carries them through
Whether I'm right, whether I'm wrong
Crying the blues or singing a song
When you're interceeding, remember my plea, Pray for me

That's the silent guy
Ryan, maybe you better leave the Elvising for Ernie?! lol
😢😢

My mom says the moves make her shudder and don't match the lyrics. I think she must agree with you.
LOL ... well, I don't "shudder" but ... maybe HE's serious about needing prayer, and from this song, we can probably guess about what!
I don't know whether you agree with her or not. I don't think I do! I don't really agree with you either but you are certainly entitled to your own opinion.
Clearly!
I will say, however, that EHSS does seem to go overboard on the "having fun" thing sometimes.
Doc 1029 wot do you mean 😮

Not sure, but I need to look it up. If I find out, I'll let ya know

Judge much?. The only judge I know is Jesus Christ
You have to watch the quiet ones. Lol
Why does the title say "Ernie Haase" when the lead singer is "Ryan Seaton"??

its cuuhz sometimes the voice needs to match the person
