- Recently, SEBI did a board meeting and discussed few agendas around Retail traders. Some of these points included Finfluencers regulations, Technical Glitches by the exchange, Selection of stocks for options trading and a lot more.
In this video, we discuss about the pros and cons of these new rules and how they really impact retail traders on the ground.
For instance, stockbrokers and other related entites will not be allowed to work with a specific set of finfluencers. But there are loopholes in this new rule. We discuss these in detail in this video
Furthermore, there was a penalty rule applied by SEBI back in 2021 on the exchange in case of any technical glitch. That penalty rule seems to be rolled back by the regulator now. Does that even make sense?

Stopping the association of brokers with finfluencer is a right step , only regulated entities should be allowed to associate with regulated finfluencer. Tip service by unregulated finfluencer is creating havoc in trading community. This tips provider who are not regulated don't make profits still they sell tips which should be regulated

I also lost on that day sir..but we never got that penalty paid by NSE..no use sir. Another site opened by NSE is a good option.
May be glitches decreases with upcoming regulations of SEBI with decrease in volume of F&O.
In Stock market "Exchange and Government" make the profits as an Intra day trader you 90% lose your money. Because in recent days much manipulation/trapping is happening in our stock market. Stay away from Intra day trading. Most of the traders are made profits by Selling their courses and not by trading.
None of the guys in SEBI are thinking about retailers. Otherwise tech glitches fines on discount brokers would have been included as proposals till now.
