Rain or shine ice cold or blistering hot the JIG ALWAYS catches fish. I just started fishing it this year and I hardly threw another lure. Caught my on large mouth than broke that record twice. And caught my on smallie also this year on the jig. Patience pays off with this lure
This is something that I started to really consider this season, and is why I feel more equipped now to fish in the colder months. I wear thermals (top and bottom), a long sleeve sun shirt, a hoodie, and Wrangler ATG pants, which are fleeced lined. They are freaking awesome and I highly recommend them. I struggle with my feet and typically it is the first part ofy body that feels cold so I use wool socks, then a layer of waterproof high knee socks and use those boots feet warmers too. I also just got a windproof jacket which gives me good warmth and is not too bulky. Overall, in the kayak, I really need to be comfortable if I want to fish and with all those layers, I do feel comfortable and have enough breathing room so it's been working out well for me.
