  • Determining discipline and how you parent is much deeper, bigger, and more important than just correcting your child when they do something wrong. It reflects your family’s core values and practices. It comprises your and your partner’s histories and how you apply them to parenting. It affects the skills, behaviors, values, and characteristics you choose to instill in your children. This training will walk you through the big picture discipline planning that will be your parenting guide to the values and behaviors you want to instill in your children. Rather than focusing on specific strategies, it will help you reflect on what is important and what works for your specific family and situation. Scientific research shows that repeated experiences actually change our child’s brain. When we experience something over and over again, this creates a neural pathway in the brain specific to that experience. As parents, you have the awesome ability to choose how you want to shape those connections.
