I can see how the three wires can be confusing, but once you figured it out, it’s nice to see Traxxas made it easy to charge the battery while in the car. That’s why Traxxas is #1.
Great Video. I find myself watching the subscribe numbers almost as close as the video. Spent the day charging batteries for a day of bashing with my son and daughter tomorrow. Getting the kids a day of trigger time tomorrow. I have a TTO2 I stuffed an Amazon motor in just recently. Doing a speed run in it tomorrow. For the size she is very quick and has a drive shaft vibration at speed.
Simple , you have to reset the throttle linkage rod that connects to your throttle servo , at the end of the rod there is a small Alan screw , loosen the screw with your Alan wrench or Alan driver and move the screw forward or back slightly, this adjustment will allow your carburetor gap to open wide for full throttle response out of your engine, also important if your engine idle is high , your gap is too wide or you can adjust the idle screw clockwise to lower the engine idle , if you turn the idle screw too low , the engine will stall out ! Good luck, remember too wide of a gap will cause a high idle and your clutch and drive wheels will engage! Test the vehicle as you make your adjustments , GOOD LUCK !
the give away is the two red ends on the wires and the black end .the red ends always go to anything with power ,the black to receiver ,well that's if they have fitted a black end, they usually are wired like that ,we have the same on rc planes from back in the day to now on the nitro and petrol engines .
power always go to the bottom of the reciver if you have the red 2 femails one is recharge ur reciver battery the other is plug the battery in that red one is battery skinny red one is to charge ur battery with open anything

I went to my first ever race and there was 30+ nitros. Then and your videos are making me want one

Mr Details I have to catch up on the lastest vids. I took a small vacation. However I wish I knew of you when I had my nitro.
Having a on/off switch makes a world of difference. I see you're getting closer to that 15k Congrats Earl. Thank's for Sharing 👊💥👍💯✌
In front of the receiver box there is a little rubber grommet rectangle that the charge wire clips in to hold it so you can plug charger into it
Yes just a hole
Always fun to watch and learn
Jato is a quality rc ! I like the extended battery box .
Great fix and let it rip, have a great weekend brother
That back battery box is way easier to use than the center box. Nice fix. Let her rip.
Hi there when I do full throttle in my traxxas jato 3.3 the carb doesn’t open fully how do I fix this? Thank you

In front of your receiver box there’s a slot for that wire it’s covered by rubber.
