takemichi is one of my fav characters bc he puts everyone else first :’) and he’s not just one of those anime characters that’s crazy strong physically and beats everyone up, he’s mentally strong and that’s what makes him so cool
My favourite character is definitely Tanjiro, he has just caught my heart with all his sweetness but also because he is so strong and puts everyone in front of him. Sometimes I can kinda relate to him :)
im not good at long paragraphs but i'd still like to answer the question. my favorite character is eren, okay basic choice but he's always caught my eye not because he's the main character or anything but because of how carefully crafted he is. so many people misjudge him and take his character the wrong way. he never lost his sense of self in a way, he always kept to his values. the people he loved and his dream. but most importantly the people, everyone, he cared sm. everything was put onto him without his control ☹️ i love him and his story.
aki from csm is my favorite because I feel like I can relate to him and he just seems like a really kind person even if he pretends like he is annoyed by power and denji, he clearly loves them a lot like younger siblings but also I love kazutora sm too and I just want to give him a hug :(

I tend to shop there for Manga or at other local book stores here. :-) Also since you mentioned psychological is one of your favorite genres, I highly recommend you check out Blood on the Tracks! In my opinion its a great psychological thriller manga.

my fav character of all time is sasuke because he is just so badass and also because everybody just hate him for trying to destroy the hidden leaf, obviously it was wrong but beacause of the hidden leaf his brother had to kill his parents and then sasuke had to kill his older brother, i wish that he was there when pain arrived in the village, and helped him destroy it, as it had to destroyed anyway, and also everyone says that naruto is stronger than sasuke and he trained alot more than him but i would say that naruto got all his powers from Kurama(RIP), but sasuke had to train for every single attack he has now and he is also stronger than naruto because just think about it, if he wanted he could have found the tailed beasts and taken there chakra with his rinnegan and and he would have the powers of all the beasts(except kurama) with his own powers
