LOL for real! It's nice the highways are so wide and have so many lanes, but damn...it's like riding in an old ass rollercoaster sometimes with the dips and changes in elevation.
Great question. Yes, I'm using XHP stage 3 with some slight adjustments, but for traction/VSC, I leave them on when I drive since it can get spicy when I punch it.
so hard to justify a big turbo but ur videos keep making me want one lol also why did u switch kits? were KLM gates giving u issues. When you go built motor does it act as if it “resets” ur milage?
Nah, no issues with the KLM kit at all. Basically I ordered the KLM kit, got tired of waiting then bought another one which is on the car now. As for the built motor, not sure what you're asking? Like if I have to break the motor in? If so, yeah I will have to so the piston rings can settle and bearings are properly settled too.
Thanks! The link below is me talking about the costs of going top mount turbo. As for the worth of the car itself, not much really if I sell it as-is. Dealer will probably offer me like $35k for it due to the mileage and condition of the front bumper. I'm never selling this car though unless I can snag a GT3RS lol th-cam.com/video/_eb6PiKGCUA/w-d-xo.html
How you like the Nittos, do they hook? I'm looking at the Conti Extreme Contact Sport 02 as i think it's overall a better tire but i know a lot of guys like the 555's.
It's been awesome for me. As long as I get them in the correct tire pressure range (about 23-26psi) and up to temp (around 90-100+ degrees), then it'll hook. Makes for a good daily tire (no snow here really) and handles the rain surprisingly well compared to R888s. It's not loud too.
@@VinceChristmastree thanks for the feedback. Lots of people like them. I had them on a WRX WAAAAAY back in the day (2003) when they just hit the market and the wear was horrible and they would hydroplane bad after about 10k miles. First 10K miles was amazing, but after that....hold on. Sure they have dialed them in by now. Unfortunately, seems like the factory wheels in 19", you're a bit limited on the wide summer tire sizes. As much as i'd love to go aftermarket wheels, $4k is a bit much, rather spend that on go-fast and handling bits.
I have the same exhaust, yes it vibrates a lot, it’s thin titanium so it dosent dampen sounds and vibrations cus of that, u can check to see if the exhaust is touching any of the heat shielding or exhaust brace if you still have that on your car
Just like what Jacob said right above, you'll have to get it in that sweet spot where it doesn't touch any of the braces and heat shielding. It took a good amount of adjustment for me to get it right.
1 year, about 15k miles. Note though that this is with ZERO burnouts and a proper alignment with correct camber/toe settings. If you have problems with your tires getting worn out in the inside, I had a local shop do the Z4 alignment specs on my car and it's been great.
@@VinceChristmastreeohh hell yeah, I got a ESS 5.0 and I just started to run 555r2s and they hook great was just worried about having to constantly get new tires. Forums have been saying it last around 7k miles but I’m already at 5k it’s still got plenty left
I did it myself. Here's the video I made: th-cam.com/video/Vv7GXL8BgTc/w-d-xo.html I do want to note is that I would recommend using a mirror tap instead so you're not having to route the wiring all the way to the fuse box. I did it on my wife's Lexus and it took like 5 mins to do.
I need to be better about posting up on social media next time I'm up in Tulsa lol roads here aren't much better. Instead of insane pot holes, we have insane dips and bumps in the road which just eats up the underside of my car.
I know this guys Supra better than my girlfriend lol
In a way, don't car guys know their cars better than they know their own wife/girlfriend? Hmm...
As you should. This is the way.
I need a supra so bad. Hopefully this year
2024 is our year! Cheering you on from here!
Geebus that is sick!!! Love seeing everyone's Supras and their builds!!!
Thanks so much! Always glad to share with others :)
Damn those Dallas roads bumpy as fu*k. 🤣🤣🤣 Your build is🔥🔥🔥🔥
LOL for real! It's nice the highways are so wide and have so many lanes, but damn...it's like riding in an old ass rollercoaster sometimes with the dips and changes in elevation.
Now that's a badass Beauty Supra❤
Thanks Joseph!
Nice! was wondering , do you normally drive with traction/vsc all the way on? also are you using Xhp?
Great question. Yes, I'm using XHP stage 3 with some slight adjustments, but for traction/VSC, I leave them on when I drive since it can get spicy when I punch it.

This makes me wanna get one even more.
Yes, yes, come join us.
@@VinceChristmastree I went to a dealership the other day, sat in one and told the salesman I'll get it soon.
So dope . How much is a car like this worth with those mods and 63k miles? How much money did it cost in mods also ?

I have 62000k on mine and im going put and ets kit on it shortly
Good luck! Doing top mount on this car makes it perform like a different car. You’ll enjoy it when you can actually put the power down.

What lake is that? Looks like a dope spot
One of the parks in Carrollton. Can't remember the exact name.
Sport button BEFORE startup!
Doesn't make a difference for me since my exhaust isn't valved and it's already loud/aggressive as fuck lol
@@VinceChristmastree My burbles are only on with sport, when I fire it up with sport on it's insanity. At least try it :)
The the exhaust vibrate for you?? Sometimes mine vibrate out of no where. Just wondering if you had a solution to this

El sonido que emite es fascinante
I agree!
What brakes do you have?
Stock brakes with Powerstop Z26 pads to lower the brake dust. Been good for me so far!
Is it easy to drain your catch can?
Yeah, super easy. I just take my turbo filter off and unscrew the can then drain accordingly!
How long does the 555r2 typically last you??
1 year, about 15k miles. Note though that this is with ZERO burnouts and a proper alignment with correct camber/toe settings. If you have problems with your tires getting worn out in the inside, I had a local shop do the Z4 alignment specs on my car and it's been great.

@@VinceChristmastree I rotate my back tires to even out the wear on the tires
The R2s are uni-directional so unfortunately they can't be rotated.
@@VinceChristmastree what they do actually take the tire out of the rims and do the swap. But you can tell that the wear is on one side vs the other.
who hardwired your radar detector?
I did it myself. Here's the video I made:
