    Thanks for the video, fantastic! I visited Guilin and Guangzhou in 2010 before all this was built. Crazy how fast and well they've built this, so proud of them for doing such a great job so quickly!

    China built the longest high speed rails that are longer than what all of the rest of the world have combined. Amazing things happened in China in the last 10-15 years. The world is just waking up to see that. No country in history of Mankind had built this kind of infrastructure in such a large scale and at such amazing speed as the Chinese did. They have a good reason to be proud of what they have achieved.

      Mike X you are the bullshit one. This Kind of train have been existing in japan over 40 years ago. It was the copying by the european country and japan'😥such a high tech That was nothing to be proud at all.the chinese were living in the hypocrisy and self deceived by the arrogance manner in the lifestyle. That mean to represent That the japanese passport was to be recognised to the exempt visa of all over 126 country. How about the chinese passport which are remaining the unvalue prospect.

      sc5252 yes, before the high speed lines from Guangzhou to Guiyang/Guilin and Guangzhou to Nanning were opened; the entire Guangxi Province had very little railway lines (often not electrified and just one track);

    what i wonder is how come i dont see any people at the stations and platforms

    • @doc7austin
      @doc7austin  8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      well, China Railways only allows passengers about 5-10 minutes before the departure of the train onto the rail platform; without a ticket, no one is allowed to access the platform; filming or photographing trains in China is therefore a challenge

    Wonder why the speed is not 300 Km/h? Is it because the region is less developed?

    • @doc7austin
      @doc7austin  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tofu well, the terrain is very challenging; it would cost much more to build a line for 300 km/h (operational speed) than 250km/h; the curve radius would have to be much higer ... Moreover, because the trains stop at many stations, an operational speed of 300 km/h would not yield big savings in travel time

    • @kansai07
      @kansai07 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      this line is reserved for 300kph operation

    • @阿理-f3t
      @阿理-f3t 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tofu speed of 250km/h costs less and will not increase too much time camparing with the speed of 300km/h. it has the highest price ratio for people in underdeveloped areas.

    • @richardking2713
      @richardking2713 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      doc7austin Yeah, you are right... and the latest speed standard of the CRH is 350km/h...hope you can enjoy it if you tranvel to China..

    how about that i dont see much people on the route at both sides - china is still the worlds highly populated country is it not - or development has simply gathered them all and deleted the excess ? I felt most of the rail video clippings about Amsterdam, France, Germany as if passing thru ghost country side or towns. some how a sense of sadness i felt
