The 125cc engine should easily go 50 mph. Do you have a 49cc? If that’s the case then they are restricted from the factory. You need to change the variator boss and the Cdi and swap in a bigger main jet
Ice bear is a cheaper chinese bike..Trust me the kymco rides sooo much better than Any Chinese scooter..Lits comparing a VW to a Mercedes...I just bought a barely used Kymco 125cc with only 900 miles...
i think it really depends on the drivers weight and the terrain etc, but this is great to know because i’m getting this model as my first motorcycle soon!
Bt the way a scooter salesman told.me he doesnt know anyonenwho jas been given a ticket for riding a 125 wo a motorcycle license. Cops most.likely mot.ticket you for that, theres alot.more serious things going on,plus it looks like a 50 and many cops wont.know about needing a motorcycle for a scooter, unless it was a true motor cycle.
If you don't get pulled over, you won't get a ticket for any moving violations. If you DO get pulled over, however, 98% of all cops will ask to see your license and motor vehicle registration. Your registration will clearly indicate that a motorcycle license is required to operate that scooter. Trust me. 💁🏻♂️🛵👮
The problem is when you insure it the insurance company requires your driver's license number the number on your operator's license. By that number they know if you passed a test to operate a motorcycle. And if you did not, they will not issue an insurance policy.

I have same scooter just different colour and ive had it 73-75mph down a hill and 65-70 flat road 😅
About as utilitarian a scooter can get, the ruckus costs the same but it can only do 28ish, and Vespas are status symbols

I have one exactly the same and it only runs 30 miles what should I do to make it run at 50 as indicated by the tapboard

The new 2021 ice bear rocket 50 cc scooter is getting way faster try one out.Mine hits 40 mph and goes faster ..And you can get one at Amazon

I rather pay for a reliable 2000$ kymco rather then a 980$ hit or miss icebear ? but I’m glad you enjoyed your scooter.
