Hi Tadd, yes it helps big time, i never thought of mounting the tabs to the bottom of the rails thinking i wouldnt have enough clearance. I will have to look into that

You're right TADD, every one is different, I've done several with a full interior and it's always a challenge.
I have done full interiors but only on those chevy trucks and they were easier than this nascar.

@@SpareRoomSlotCars I think it’s 1/8” minimum clearance Gene, for Harry’s track. But depending on how thick your brass tabs are you should be good.
