Lucky Charms - Drumline Cadence

Pretty easy cadence, perfect for a small drumline, with a really cool groove.
I have to say I've never written for cymbals before so I kind of just wrote what I thought sounded cool...

Sounds good! Some things I will say though are that some parts definitely seem a little overwritten and some of it looks really hard, mainly the tenor part. There are also times where the parts don’t really line up with each other and kinda go all over the place, like when the snares and tenors are playing triplets and the basses are playing straight 8th notes at the same time. One more thing is that there’s some rhythms in here that aren’t bad but are written in a way that makes it kinda hard to read, such as the tenor part from 14-16 where they’re doing the skank stuff. The rhythm isn’t bad at all, but I would write it so that you can see where the downbeat is, so like with the 4th and 6th note in the bar, I would make those 16th notes so that the down beats are rests if that makes sense. Overall though, this seems like a good cadence, and I’m not trying to say that this sucks, I’m just giving some feedback that hopefully you can keep in mind when you’re writing in the future.

I don’t put sticking in the videos cause it’s unnecessary extra work, but I wrote it out for this one cause a guy emailed me and asked for the sheet music.
