- Next show up is the Hinckley Model Show, and both me and Lenny @modelpro72 managed to get a bit of rest-bit and spend the day with the fantastic chaps from the Sheffield South Modellers Group, and to top it off they kindly let Lenny put his Corsair on the table.
Got to say had a great bit of fun and I managed to get away without buying a kit, I know. But bought a single oil paint and some decals. But at least I was not walking around with a single cutting matt.
While Lenny…well cannot say what he bought as his wife may know lol.
Also managed to take a couple of built kits, the 1/48 Herc and the 1/32 F-16 and Lenny took his Super Corsair.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the video.
All the best and happy modelling.

Really cool model show. 🛩
Thank you so much👍👍
Dear Sir,
I find these videos diverting and spend a good deal of time watching them, that is to say when I am not looking at the scratch building escapades of that frontline bloke…
Regards,
Z
Thank you really appreciate that, I do find these videos distracting for myself, as I look at many I would like to build myself🤣🤣
Awesome pics of awesome builds. Thanks for posting. Rob F from down Under.
Cheers Rob for the kind comments👍👍
You can’t beat a bit of Dastardly and Muttley.
No you cannot, love how he does his bases👍👍
Excellent video chaps! Every fresh plane gave me a boost of joy! Keep them coming. 👍💥😎
Nice video. As someone who is just getting back into the hobby, I found it interesting that most of the aircraft models did not appear to have much if any weathering. Is weathering seen as an optional extra rather than a "must do"' ? My initial attempts have been pretty average!!
Ye u dont have to but its optional most of these are meamt to represent straight out tge factory
Like what has been said before the weathering is personal to the modeller and not to mention to be accurate to the scale in question. Most of my videos if scaled up to 1:1 will mean that the video was taken about 30-50 feet away and in others over a few hundred, so the scale affect must be taken into affect in some of the cases.
But in terms of your own weathering, good reference material on the subject you are doing, plus a lot of practice and just experiment with different techniques is the best way.
Hope that helps👍👍
Cracking video mate.
Cheers mate
Thanks for that, sir. I'd love to get to an exhibition like that, but ours are nowhere near that scale. Really appreciate it
So many beautiful models here but what I really NEED to know is... Where can I get a Dastardly and Mutley?
The intro 💀the jet
That desert truck at 12:10 is amazing.
Dors anyone know what kit it is? Id love to have a go at it 👍
what airplane is at 1:07 in Japan colors?
Hi, the kit I think is the Classic Airframes Fiat BR.20 "Cicogna”.
It is an Italian WW2 twin engined bomber and shown here in Japanese service.
Hope that helps
